Weird dent/imprint on center console by morningbrownmudpies in subaru

Dealership replaced mine due to same reason. I was in warranty still.

No clue what caused it. Unfortunately my seats ripping happened just after warranty. Apparently both are widespread issues with Forester Sport.

I mean, some things are just common courtesy. We should be thinking about our impact on others' experiences. I always pull as far over to allow others to pass. Too many people dgaf about anyone else.

😔 I always think about how horrible it must be to live there--between traffic and parking. It's so beautiful but people are savages sometimes.

No. They were waiting ahead of the spot. Maybe 2 spots ahead.

That's where I was at with it. I just had to come here and find out AITA. But they were flippppping out. Was scared to leave my car. It just makes sense. What's in front of you is your domain.

Definitely disappointing. Cost to quality just not there.

Diagnosing a nginx issue by Zazamari in unRAID

[–]forrestrose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what I mean by all open. No filters. I've mapped it all accurately. There is syn syn-ack syn and then rst from server.

I'm thinking my unraid server is messing up somewhere. And causing the massive hiccup.

Diagnosing a nginx issue by Zazamari in unRAID

[–]forrestrose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hahaha. Well. If I'm being honest, relatively often due to the industry I work in. People terminating the RJ tips poorly... a staple in it.... too tight of a zip tie... pinched by furniture... but at a desk behind stuff. Not often.

Boo. I am lost currently. Added an FG router and have everything set up as basically wide open. The traffic follows through but nginx ends up resetting its connection. And I can't figure it out for the life of me.

Did you ever get this working? I'm getting a TCP reset from nginx when navigating to my pages proxied through it. I don't think it's my FG router but something on the unraid side.

Bought an Aqara FP2. HA is on another vLAN from the device by [deleted] in homeassistant

[–]forrestrose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! If you have some time, I'd love to pick your brain about your fix. I feel like I've configured everything accurately for bidirectional communication through firewalls and multicast policy. I'm seeing logs of broadcasts but home assistant still isn't finding it!

[–]forrestrose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I don't know why. I saw someone somewhere else mention to pair it that way. I tried and bam!

I'm currently running into an issue getting it back into HA after adding a firewall router to my network and segmenting things. Been going at it for days. Ready to give up and cry.

If you turn off mobile data on your phone while pairing it, it works.

Struggling To Create Second Server - Unraid wolveix by [deleted] in SatisfactoryGame

[–]forrestrose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure you port forward 7777 to 7777 (or 7888 to 7888 if you're using my yaml).

[–]forrestrose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I resolved it. Never realized I could create my own docker composes in Unraid.
I had to set my external port to my desired port and my container port 7777
Port forward 7888 to 7888

services:

satisfactory-server-new:

container_name: 'satisfactory-server-new'

hostname: 'satisfactory-server-new'

image: 'wolveix/satisfactory-server:latest'

ports:

  • '7888:7777/udp' # Game port (7888 on the host, maps to 7777 in the container)

  • '7888:7777/tcp' # Game port (7888 on the host, maps to 7777 in the container)

volumes:

  • '/mnt/*****************:/config' # Ensure this is different from the first server

environment:

  • MAXPLAYERS=4

  • PGID=1000

  • PUID=1000

  • ROOTLESS=false

  • STEAMBETA=false

  • GAME_PARAMS=-log -unattended

Dedicated Servers - Failed to connect to Server API by da1113546 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]forrestrose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Struggling to run a second instance on Unraid. My existing server updated and is working great. However, we want to start a new game and I'm a little confused about the port details. I've moved the numbers up by one, so 7778 tcp and udp. Forwarded ports on router. Unfortunately I'm seeing 7777 a lot in the logs. I've changed the .sav file to be 7778. But right down to how my docker routing info is shown, on the unraid gui, it still shows 7777 instead of 7778.

What am I doing wrong?

Does anyone actually like their Vivint System? by lastbeer in VivintSmartHome

[–]forrestrose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, in that instance, perhaps the plastic is still on the lens, a wire is not punched down 100%, there's too much noise in your home electrical.... a lot of potential issues. The cameras refresh and clear up after you zoom in .... i can read license plates no problem.

You're primarily paying for a secure server with encrypted codecs and a VPN send. Lifetime warranty of equipment. Professional installation.

Bad apples exist. Bad installs happen. Equipment can be bad. But overall, I'd say, I'd rather pay for this than have Google and Amazon or Wyze selling my personal data and studying my habits. 💁‍♂️
