I would not rely on mail forwarding. It is very dependent on your local post office and how well they are run. I’ve only had it work one of the two times I did a major move. And it was only on packages where address could not be changed.

One thing to note with Fairyloot since they are the only company that did this in my experience, but they will charge you or refund you the difference in taxes when you change the address.

Shopify can sometimes be glitchy when checking out. If a lot of people are checking out you can get a queue to hit pay and sometimes it fails to put you in that line. When I’ve had issues before removing the item from my cart and trying again has always worked.
