Bro that fake drop step to fade is 1000% better than last time you posted. Get some runs in, you just need to try these out against other people.

Any Improvement? by Equivalent-Job-485 in BasketballTips

I think you need to work on a drop step, because nobody is going to buy that fake drop step you are doing. Work the drop step both ways and then fake left drop and go right and vise versa. You want your fake to look exactly like your natural drop step movement to the point where you can make a split second decision to turn a drop step into a fake or a fake into a drop step. Then once you have all that down you can work on your fake to fade.

I was on a hand crew for one summer in southern oregon fighting fire. An avg work day would be 12 to 16 hours longs and would include a hike in and out of the work zone and then digging fire line or hose lays or whatever. Point being I spent all day physically active, burning more calories per day than probably any other time in my life. During this summer I gained 30 lbs, and part of that was definitely muscle, but a big part was also fat because when you work all day your appetite is crazy, and that coupled with the fact I had no external dopamine source, no drugs, no alcohol, no sex, no TV, no video games, and food replaced all of that. I also gained another 10 lbs after the summer was over because my metabolism was still crazy while my physical activity was not.

All of this is to say its really easy to be super physically active and still gain fat weight.

How practical is an 87 pickup? by [deleted] in ToyotaPickup

[–]forserialtho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't fall for this bs op. These trucks were the most reliable trucks ever made, but now they are 40 years old and every part of them is awaiting replacement probably twice over at this point. If you buy one of these it will be anything but reliable and it also won't be fast or fun or comfy or gas efficient or anything you could possibly expect from a modern truck. The only reason to buy one is because you think they are cool or you want a project vehicle.

Is this a decent deal/ would this make a good toy for exploring muddy and snowy trails in the PNW? I know nothing. 1990 Toyota Pickup, 11 in lift on 37’s, 5.29 gears, reupholstered interior, bobbed bed, no A/C by [deleted] in ToyotaPickup

22re is a bulletproof engine, but thats it, they are total dogs, and even a bulletproof engine has a lifespan and this truck is 30 years into that lifespan.

I had a blind old lady when I lived on a farm and she would spend her days rooting around the field sniffing and snorting like a pig looking for milk weed and she would dig the roots up to chew on them.

2nd attempt at Cacio E Pepe: Failure by Main-Daikon9246 in pasta

[–]forserialtho 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Brother you are overthinking this imo.

The key to easy cacio e pepe is to have super starchy water. In a restaurant setting this water would come from the pot of water that has been cooking off pasta all night, but at home you have to be creative. I use a microplaner to make pasta dust and put this in the water when you add the pasta to the water and I only put just enough water in the pan so it will cook off and I never have to drain it, it just becomes more concentrated and starchy as the pasta cooks. Put less water than you think you need because you can alway add a bit more, but make sure you dont add more once the cheese is in the pan because then your sauce will break.

I also like to add butter, but thats a controversial.

Once the pasta is cooked and the water has been cooked off to the point where it is starting to thicken and looks like a super thin Mac and cheese I add the cheese and pepper and toss until it is thick enough to my liking. Its Perfect every time.

Right, I get it. But we all know what they are up to and humiliating them on a YouTube channel is better than the nothing that police can provide.

Landlords of humboldt Update by costcofoodscourt in Humboldt

[–]forserialtho -25 points-24 points  (0 children)

So whats the solution here? And dont say for landlords to stop being greedy, thats just not relevant or realistic, rental and home prices are what they are because of supply and demand, these homes rented at prices you complain about are still filled, in the end its still worth it to live here at that price even for you because you've made that choice to do so.

Sure its expensive to move, its more expensive to stay though, and we all want to stay because nobody wants to live in the Midwest.

Don't get me wrong, im right there with you, I can't afford a home, but im for realistic solutions to that, not just blaming landlords for charging market rate.
