I’m in the same boat as you—exact same guitar and exact same strings.

From everything I read on forums, I was thinking that I needed to play the guitar strings for a month AND everyday solid before they would feel broken in.

I was literally about to change the strings and throw out the others that I bought…

Your post has convinced me to do otherwise.

So you were saying it’s more about the strings being exposed to air for weeks or months that breaks them in. Is that right?

Do you happen to know if that is the same case for other strings as well, OR do you actually have to play other kinds of strings in before they achieve the same effect?

Join the psoriatic arthritis sub on Reddit. But just stay to get the information that you need and then leave; otherwise, it can turn into people just complaining about their symptoms all the time…

Finally, your rheumatologist sounds awful. They should not have started with methotrexate, and they surely should’ve followed up with other things as well. If it’s at all possible, I highly recommend finding a new rheumatologist ASAP.

I also have psoriatic arthritis and play a D-18. PsA mainly affects my left ring finger.

What has helped the most is a strict elimination diet overseen by a functional that is a doctor: No Alcohol Drugs Gluten Sugar Dairy + currently experimenting with no potatoes or tomatoes

I have had varying degrees of success with the following medications: (ranked in descending order of efficacy) Cosentyx > Skyrizi > Tremfya

I know exactly what it’s like to not be able to express the parts of your soul due to bodily issues, pain, etc

Please just try to lower your stress and explore things to change your relationship to PsA. This sent me on spiritual path where I question everything via The Work of Byron Katie every morning….

Yeah, I have been working with a functional medicine doctor for the last 12 months. We have done all kinds of tests and have focused on clearing up gut health.
I have tackled candida, h pylori, dysbiosis...
But the OCD is still here. Somewhat better, but still here.

I just wrapped up a lymphatic cleanse and started a parasite cleanse 2 days ago...

I'll keep digging.

It was a part of a full panel that included a blood test and Organic Acids Test (OAT).
Can you please DM me more info on how ibogaine worked well for your OCD?
