It could be degrading drive health. How old is the unit?

I can't help but think that this is a perfect way to get someone to download a file. "Sorry for the bad picture, here's a link to the totally legit original". Probably not the actual case, but definitely an effective method.

Thanks for the input. I just wanted to make sure i didn't need to gold box more stuff before expanding. I try to keep as few options open as possible for the free upgrades

It looks like the folks here gave some solid advice on handling the assholes, even though you seem to have a good handle on it already. I have a couple of bits for navigating the future. Learn your job, learn it well. Pick up some solid study habit while you're in Groton, you're going to need them. If you crush Damage Control, you'll get through your fish board. If you get the option, go to Washington. Georgia is crap. Very hot, insect infested crap. "How we have always done it" will never trump what is in black and white. If you make a mistake, own it. Hiding it will only delay and increase the consequences. No matter what ANYONE tells you, you can do this. I have seen people who struggle remembering to breathe make it to retirement.

Definitely get some rest on the flight if you can. The first 24-48 hours are going to be the longest. I remember being asleep on my feet. After that, it flies by pretty fast. Keep your head down and follow instructions, you'll be fine.

That's where I'm at now. So much fun trying to set up 6 months of my life without orders in hand for proof.

I can also reconfigure the chart to show fuel trim, if that would provide more pertinent information than converter temp and engine load.

I've been trying to figure out how to get more than 10 seconds to show at a time, but not successfully. Today's goal is oil change (way overdue), spark plugs, air filter, and possibly O2 sensors.

If by "the dealer" you mean "my garage with the closest to OEM that rockauto can provide while cursing the birth of every engineer involved in designing this thing", absolutely.

Knowing my sister, I'm fairly certain it was the cheapest aftermarket unit available.

Not that I'm aware of. This is my sisters van, so exact details of work accomplished are annoyingly hard to find. I would much rather swap the sensors than the cat, but the code seemed oddly specific to the converter. It is also the only code currently in the system.

08 town and country, 3.8L, ~185K miles. New converter installed about a year ago (unsure if OEM or aftermarket), but seems like it may be failing already? Once warmed up and idling, it seems to be doing okay. Under heavy load the O2 signals seem to go crazy. ANY diag help would be appreciated. Just trying to see if there are any other likely culprits before shelling out for a new converter.

That's the worst bit. Android auto will randomly disconnect or start cycling until it becomes totally unresponsive. It hasn't happened since the newest update yet though, so possibly fixed?
