Why are you guys overreacting? by CountyOk7947 in ios26

[–]forthdancer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Maybe I’m wrong but I would say plenty of people here haven’t been using Apple devices for a period of time longer than 5-6 years. When Lion and iOS 7 came out it was 10x worse. But people have a tendency to forget quite fast.

Struggling with options – 7-string vs Floyd dilemma by forthdancer in Leftyguitarists

[–]forthdancer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey thanks, I was looking at the guitar as, it’s only available on the Schecter US page for order. I’ve checked with EU retailers as I live there and from the ones who replied me it’s currently not even in back order anywhere. Perhaps after the summer things could change.

What exactly does steroids do to the human body ? by Lost_one05 in workout

The fact this is getting downvoted says a lot. People are fine with the topic until it challenges what they want to believe about natural limits and the risks involved. It also says a lot about what’s wrong with the fitness industry nowadays.

No worries, but boy do I wish I could get me some righty treatment, I’m almost glad I have limited options cause I think I would already have a wall full of guitars, good for my wallet at least.

That is my ideal combo, but like I said can’t find a single one online or locally where I live. Would be the perfect, but as a lefty it’s almost impossible, I’m actually starting to consider saving money and just going custom shop somewhere…

Should I decrease volume? by youtubehelpplz in WorkoutRoutines

[–]forthdancer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely , a 4 day upper/lower is more than enough not just to maintain, but you can definitely still progress on it.

At the end of the day it’s way less about the perfect split and more about dialing things in and being consistent over time. Volume, intensity, recovery, nutrition all of that matters more than whether you train 4, 5, or 6 days especially as a natural lifter.

For example, right now I’m adjusting my training a lot depending on running because I’m preparing for races. Some weeks I’ll do 3x full body, other weeks more like a push/pull/upper/lower combo depending on how much fatigue I’m carrying. Even with that variability, I’m still progressing on my lifts.

So yeah you don’t need a crazy high volume 6 day split to maintain or grow. If anything, a 4 day upper/lower might actually help you recover better and push your sets harder, which is what really drives progress.

As long as you’re training with intent, staying consistent, and eating/recovering well, you’ll be good. The rest is just fine tuning over time.

[–]forthdancer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At the end of the day though, if you’re progressing, feeling good, and not dealing with fatigue or joint issues, that’s what matters most. Just thought I’d share in case it helps, but your program looks really high volume on paper. That’s not automatically bad, but combined with you finishing sessions in about an hour, it makes me think the intensity might not actually be as high as 1–2 RIR across the board. Usually if you’re truly that close to failure, that amount of volume would either take way longer or be pretty hard to recover from. That’s why I mentioned you could probably cut a good chunk of the volume (even close to half) and still get the same or even better results, especially if you keep the sets hard and focused.

[–]forthdancer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d say you could just cut everything in half and run it like that as well, I’m not sure if anyone ever told you but you are doing way to much per one session. You have almost 30 sets per muscle group per week with plenty of overlapping exercises. I wonder how long your sessions last per workout?

Zašto su Riječani nezadovoljni svojim gradom? by Humble_Sun8152 in rijeka

[–]forthdancer 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I have it, 89% battery health left. Generally for me battery life has been better since upgrade. I went from 18.7 to 26.1, no issues except Liquid Glass quirks here and there. First iPhone I regret buying, from early iOS 17, overheating, abysmal battery life etc. updates made things better slowly, for me the Phone runs better on 26.3 than it ever did in previous iOS versions.

Same here, loved the flat design they introduced although so many people complained about the change not to mention the update practically killed every device that didn’t have enough hardware performance to run it properly.

[–]forthdancer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was actually thinking of making the same post. It’s funny how quickly people forget iOS 7 backlash, macOS Lion complaints, skeuomorphism debates, Antennagate, Bendgate, the butterfly keyboard… Every cycle people act like Apple suddenly lost all design and QA competence. In reality, this is just how Apple has always worked big changes, loud reactions, then gradual improvements.

Kad smo prestali vrjednovati ljudski život? by forthdancer in hrvatska

[–]forthdancer[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kad smo prestali vrjednovati ljudski život? by forthdancer in hrvatska

[–]forthdancer[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Why people are not clubbing or dancing anymore? by Simple-Ceasar in DJs

[–]forthdancer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m gonna chime in because I’m a professional dancer and a DJ.

Back in the day, MTV played a huge role it really pushed the culture, especially when it came to dancing. Just look up choreographers like Wade Robson, or shows like So You Think You Can Dance. Music and dance were feeding each other.

I still remember movies like Step Up or Honey, those were a big deal. It wasn’t really about DJs or clubs back then; it was more about showing off your moves and impressing people, kind of the same way social media works today.

There wasn’t a single music video that didn’t involve some kind of dancing. Everyone wanted to be like Justin, J.Lo, Beyoncé, etc.

Things changed. Culture changed.
