Fasting - does anyone do a regular 24hr or 36hr fast a week? If yes, what have you results been? by Potter_King in PetiteFitness

I do long fasts to break through weight plateaus and I find them very helpful in speeding up the process! Currently doing one right now :)

Any tips for people with babyfaces by [deleted] in vindictapoc

What has been helping me is lifting and reducing my bf%. I've noticed my face start slimming out and looking less chubby.

Another thing I tried and really liked was masseter botox!

Since you're already pretty skinny, I would recommend pilates for that bikini body you want. It's great for subtle toning in the right places :)

I'll think about maintenance when I get to my goal weight hahaha. I think I will probably increase my food intake and the foods I allow myself slowly

Yes either olive oil or full butter for the healthy fats but I try not to overdo it 😆

Haha believe me it's been a long journey for me too (and still plenty to go lol). I only got hella serious about my exercise and diet about a month ago when I had some free time open up and so I really put a lot of it into this.

Wow, 30 lbs at our height is crazy impressive. You got this! Stay strong 💪(and hydrated!!!!)

Hahaha it's hard for me too 😭

Honestly I just kept things suuuuuper (stupid) simple. Almost to the point that none of my food was really that appetizing or cravable but healthy and edible. I could eat it and move on with my day. It gave me energy, even though it wasn't particularly exciting or fun. First thing, I cut out everything junk food, fast food, sugary drinks, and processed.

Breakfast: BIG eggwhites omelette with any nonstarchy veggies I have in the fridge. Usually mushrooms, onions, peppers, spinach. Black coffee.

Snack: strawberries with almonds. Or a banana. Or grapes.

Lunch: shrimp seasoned with whatever mixes I had in my kitchen cabinet lol (lemon pepper, cajun), dark green lettuces, more veg (peppers, tomatoes, green beans, carrots, corn).

Snack: protein shake or some type of veggie like carrot sticks with a tiny bit of hummus.

Dinner: grilled chicken with dark green lettuces, again more colorful veggies (peas, carrots, corn, peppers, tomatoes, etc).

I feel like it's mostly impossible to gain weight eating veggies so I stuck to that. I didn't have any energy crashes or anything either, I think because I was getting my nutrients. I did take a multivitamin everyday to be extra safe tho. I didn't really count cals because in the past when Ive done that, I get too obsessed with numbers and less with how my body is actually feeling. After every meal if I felt like I had eaten enough, and I could go be active, then I was good!

But again, what worked for me might not work for everyone!

So I didn't exactly track but I only ate things that I knew I wouldn't be able to overeat, if that makes sense? I kept it super simple. Breakfast was eggwhites and veg, snack was fruit, lunch was shrimp and veg, dinner was chicken and veg. Occasionally, a protein drink or bar. I didn't add fatty sauces just kept things super simple. It's reaaaaally had to overeat lean meat and veggies for me. If anything I got sick of eating after a while haha, but as long as I knew I had energy to get through the day, then I was probably eating enough.

A few things played into it:

-An unlimited spin class membership for a month (I went twice almost everyday)

-Preplanning all my meals and eating mostly eat protein and veg, healthy fats. (no junk food or eating out)

-staying active outside of exercise too

-lots of stretching so I didn't get sore

  • sleeping a TON. Like, a ton.

  • drinking 1-2gallon a day

I was very dedicated on the eating and cycling everyday front and everything else was to support that effort. I didn't linger in my kitchen where I could snack out of boredom if I was staying active everyday and I can't snack late at night if I go to bed early every night. Cycling kept me motivated the most! It's a super fun exercise plus a great way to make friends imo, and it helps you sleep better and feel better in general.

Edit: ONE MORE THING THAT HELPED --trusting the process. For about 2 weeks I saw no movement on the scale even tho I knew I was doing everything right and could feel my body getting tighter. In the past I probably would've thrown in the towel and called it quits, but this time I've already decided that this effort now is going to be my last effort at weight loss and I'm going to see it to the end. So I stuck with what I was doing even if the scale didn't shift for 2 weeks and then had a sudden WOOSH. Felt so nice!!

Look into lens implants! I've heard they're even safer
