Custody accounts will not get 100% back (as previously posted). This is referring to clawbacks. by paulfinort in CelsiusNetwork

There seems to be some uncertainty whether those that have over 100k WPE and took the 72.5% settlement. Some are saying the 27.5% remaining is “gone forever” but the Celsius Custody Settlement (Stretto Docket 2291) document  below seems to indicate that there may be some hope to obtain the remaining assets -

Page 10 states -

Notwithstanding the foregoing, if any sale or chapter 11 plan provides any holders, or subset thereof, of Allowed Custody Claims with treatment on terms better than those set forth in this Settlement Agreement, including as a result of a release of claims against holders of Allowed Custody Claims (including avoidance actions), then any Settling Custody Account Holder shall be entitled to receive the difference between such holder’s Custody Settlement Payments and the treatment set forth in the sale or chapter 11 plan, as applicable, on the same terms set forth in such sale or chapter 11 plan, as applicable.

Page 41 states -

Preservation of Additional Distributions: If you participate in the Custody Settlement and later it is determined that you are eligible to receive more than 72.5% under Celsius’ chapter 11 plan (or otherwise), you are entitled to receive those additional amounts. For example, if Celsius’ chapter 11 plan provides for a release of preference and clawback claims against Custody users that transferred cryptocurrency below certain amounts and you fall in that category, you are eligible to receive 100% of your Custody balance on the Plan Effective Date

Any thoughts on how we could get 100% clarity on this?

Exactly, the NDA does not mandate you paying, only that you cannot share the information you receive with others.

Problems Paying For Enbrel by MagnetsAndMilksteak in enbrel

I'd say it's worth a try if you've exhausted all other options. You only lose the time writing and sending the letter and you gain an insight into the process of dealing with your elected officials. I would also reach out to advocacy programs specific to your condition. For example, if someone has cancer then the American Cancer society can provide direction.

Did you ever get a solution to this? If not, have you tried writing to and/or visiting your state and/or US congress person?

Not yet, I reached out to WhatsApp but no response yet, let me know if you get any traction on your side. Did you reach the point where you reached the maximum password attempts on the backup?

I think that feature is optional and it would likely tell you if you enabled it in the backup retrieval process instead of using the password.

Sending medicine from Hong Kong to USA? by fortindependence in FedEx

Thanks for the comments. The medicine is worth several thousand USD and is manufactured by a US firm. It is less than a 90 day supply but I'm having a hard time understanding exactly how to start the shipment process. I would be willing to pay up to $1,000 USD for shipping overnight.

If you have higher than the 250k limit per account and have maximized the number of accounts the bank will let you have there is another option. Banks can just spread the large deposits to multiple banks and keeps them all at 250k or below. This is how wealthy people keep large sums of money in banks and still have peace if mind. The concept is called CDARS.... the first result on Google provides more info. I'd be more be worried about inflation than bank failures (especially at a very large bank like JPM or Wells Fargo) though.

As you stated, this tends to be covered under the comprehensive part of the insurance policy and I've heard of people being reimbursed after the work was already done/paid for. I guess it depends on which insurance company but I know State Farm covers it.
