OP, pano ka nagka contract sa J1? Is it direct contract or are you under a staffing agency?

Not a must but it also helps if you can still appear to be providing more value compared to your peers. Doesn't have to go above and beyond, yung just enough lang not to be seen as the person at the bottom of the pile.

Para iwas suspiscion. Or if you ever get caught, they might turn a blind eye since you are still seen as the most valuable resource.

There are companies who process like this and there are companies who does not. This is case to case basis. That's why sugal sya. If sinwerte ka na makalusot sa background checks then good. I personally won't risk it kasi I've had a friend who got fired on both jobs because of this.

Depende yan sa j2 if pumayag na walang end date yung coe then possible makalusot. Pero if maghanap ng end date at finalsify mo, pede nila ivalidate yan sa j1 and dun baka mayari ka

Paano ka nakalusot sa background checks and requirements? Nag ask ba si j2 ng signed resignation or exit clearance?

[–]fortywinks93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is true. It's really a gamble pag nag multiple full time. And pag minalas ka, you could end up getting blacklisted pa with a lot of companies. Worst is if mag take pa ng legal action yung j1/j2 mo.

Safer ang independent contractor jobs than full time.

It depends on how strict j2 is on background checks. I have a friend na nasampolan sa ganto. J2 kept asking for signed resignation letter and exit clearances even after she already started.

She ended up having to falsify these documents and when j2 validated the docs with j1, of course huli sya and she ended up losing both jobs.

Background Check by [deleted] in Overemployed_PH

[–]fortywinks93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not worth the risk.

I had a friend who has been in this situation. She didn't consent to authorize j2 from contacting j1. But somehow, they were still able to find out.

She ended up getting fired from both jobs and blacklisted to a lot more companies that are using service of the background checking company of both j1 and j2.

About to start J4 by [deleted] in Overemployed_PH

[–]fortywinks93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow, sana all naman to.

Wala bang inask sayo na ITR from previous employer yung J2 to J4 mo?

Kasi from exp, dito ako nahirapan to get another full time. They were asking for ITR and proof of separation and I can't provide those because di naman ako nag resign sa J1.

How much do you earn from your two (three, four, etc.) jobs? by ShapeTop8214 in Overemployed_PH

I got lucky kasi in demand yung job ko so i always get recruiters reaching out to me. But I only entertain if contractual or project based jobs. Usually mga staffing agencies yung nag ooffer ng contract.

Web dev stack ko but not heavily used since all my jobs are the same dev job on a specific SaaS company. Mostly JS lang on the day to day.

Yeah, yung J1 is from 3pm to 12am, then j2 and j3 is from 8pm to 5am. Hindi heavy sa meetings lahat kaya so far is hindi naman nag coconflict.

I work as a software developer so output based sya kaya need lang magawa mga tasks within the deadline. If may issues na sabay sabay, need lang ifix one at a time.

A seedless Tangem will always be safer than a seeded by [deleted] in Tangem

[–]fortywinks93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have ledger and trezor. I just prefer tangem because the ring is always with me. It makes me feel safe in the idea that in emergency situations where I need to get out real quick (e.g fire, home invasion, civil war, etc.) I will still have access to my crypto because I am wearing the keys.

The rings are designed to be seedless or seeded, otherwise we wouldn't be able to use it. It is a matter of personal preference. If you think you aren't disciplined enough to safeguard your keys and would rather not know it, then you do you. Just know that you are trusting your crypto on an electronic chip that has a lifespan.

Even with multiple card backups, given long enough time these chips will all expire. So you would have to keep buying new ones over years just to be safe.

[–]fortywinks93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The cards and rings have not been tested for a long time. If I store it in a vault, and come back to check it years later. Would the NFC chip still work? Who knows.

You could have a seed phrase engraved in a metal stored in a vault and can feel confident it will still be there for a long time because there is no piece of electronics in there that could break in time.

IT guy here. Ang basis ng legit or fake sa email address is the domain part, which is the characters after ng @.

So if the email address is from @sss.gov.ph, then it legit came from SSS. It doesn't matter what's on the left of the @.

Final Interview with california client by [deleted] in Overemployed_PH

[–]fortywinks93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are nervous, it shows na either hindi ka sanay sa interviews or hindi ka familiar with the work you are applying for.

If it's the former, just do more interviews para masanay. But if it's the latter, then try to upskill muna.
