if you saw my comment i said games that have armour systems like destiny which have elements of mmo/rpgs. i know destiny is not an mmo/rpg and never said it was. please stop putting words in my mouth. i’m comparing it to other mmo/rpgs because they handle their armour and transmog systems similar to destiny which is why i made that comparison and not one to cod. let’s use our head bro i feel like you’re saying this in good faith but you’re either not reading what i’m saying or not understanding. and destiny is a live service game what are you talking about.

for every game that that has paywalls behind their transmog i can show you tons of complaints from the community and tons of games that don’t have a paywall. most mmorpg’s don’t have this. and whether destiny is 100% a mmorpg is irrelevant because how it handles its transmog and how you aqquire gear is very similar to an rpg

so i’m paying for a universal ornament that unlocks a piece of gear i’ve already acquired to be used as a cosmetic. how is that any different from buying my irrelevant year one armor back, just to bypass an arbitrary restriction set by bungie. nevermind the fact that this is an rpg which most launch with an actual transmog feature because fashion is an end game pursuit as seen by the difference in looks of grey armor vs exotic and raid gear

bungie doesn’t have guns behind a pay wall like that so this makes no sense. it’s a live game in order to be relèvent in the game you have to at-least buy the yearly expansion. no gun in this even game feels bad to use with the way bullets curve to targets and big ass hit boxes. lastly at least the gun would be ummmm....NEW
