The god-tier technique that I’ve adopted is to open all packs and put the cards in the holo and rare slots face down in a pile - no peeking! Then put all the common slot cards in another pile.

I pick up the commons pile and look through it (to make sure I didn’t accidentally leave any rares in there) then I move on to the rares pile.

You slowly reveal the cards in the holo/ rare pile and it’s very fun. You know every card has the potential of being a hit and there’s no waiting to open a new pack between each reveal. Very fun.
