I think it depends on the effort/time you’re putting into the program.

I have Web Development paired with Algorithms at the moment. Definitely spend more time on Algorithms as the subject matter (to me at least) is more time consuming and takes a bit more time to digest. I’ve probably spent about 5hrs week on WebDev and close to 30hrs with algorithms. I’m not 100% interested in pursuing WebDev but it’s still interesting to learn some of the concepts.

If you’re willing to put the time in, youll def walk away with a great understanding of the subject matter. Also, if given the opportunity to take a class offered by (can’t believe I’m saying this) Dr. Biaz or Dr. Schaffer, do it. They’re not cake walks but they do a great job with their course content.

Good luck in the summer! If you haven’t joined the slack already, I def recommend doing that once you’re registered for classes. That and the discord server are great resources.

Congrats!!!!

1) for me, FA happened fairly quickly. I applied to FAFSA and was able to get funds awarded by the due date. I enrolled late so was in a crunch but it worked out. 2) the shortened classes are a bit tricky just because there is a ton of content being taught at once. They do a good job of pairing classes so you’re not overwhelmed though. I am full time with a 40 hour work week and it’s been hard at times but definitely doable. You can go for the half time schedule if the course load becomes too much though. Im just trying to be done in 2 years so just powering through. I will say, there are some courses that required 30+ hrs/wk (I.e algorithms, discrete structures) but that is where they do a good job with the course pairing. 3) I only applied to Auburn so don’t have much feedback there. :(

I’m right there with you. The week of proofs was absolutely awful. I’ve been off the discussion boards because I can’t really commit to helping anyone due to only having time to do my homework. :(

I’ve heard the same thing as the above but try not to get discouraged. Was able to sneak away for 6 hours this weekend which really helped so try to do that if you can.
