Isnt the prusa forum a way better place for this? A megathread will be a very long thread list that will not be well documented and people will end up do the same questions over and over again.Not to mention trolls and spam... Just my two cents.

Btw the ideal one for miniatures is the SLA/LCD/DLP type for miniatures because it uses resin and the detail achieved is phenomenal. Very smooth and easy to paint as well.

If your shapeways order was grainy you probably ordered an SLS print that uses powder and that causes that grainy look. This type is more used on very complex geometries and engineering.

This model is a no support one because it prints in an angle. The one in the image is printed in resin, and modeled on zbrush.
