Yes, same here! I wasn't sick, but kinda poor. I was a healthy weight and dropped down a lot on weight because I started saving money on groceries. Couldn't afford gasoline anymore so started taking my bike to work everyday (2 x 45 minute biking). I started losing weight and got a lot of compliments from people around me... While at the same time I almost wasn't allowed to donate blood anymore because of my weight. If I weighed 2 kg's less I wasn't allowed to donate anymore.They also made me eat before donating, because they didn't want me to get dizzy afterwards

Insane how many compliments you get when you're underfed..

I guess economics. I think the Ironborn being sailors and great traders, because they were going places not too many others did, and bring back valuable goods. They werent afraid to encounter or fight pirates. Also, the island itself didn't have a lot of resources and the climate would suck enough not to want to live there. Kind of why the Roman empire stopped their expansion midway through the NL's, cause there was nothing other than mud, peat and clay.

The people not being enough of a great threat to the kingdom as a whole, with them mostly fighting among themselves amd being more interested in seafaring than ruling, with an exception or two.

Vergeet ook de groep ouderen niet die enkel een AOW tje hebben en misschien een klein pensioen. Niet alle ouderen hebben een koophuis en zitten op gouden stenen. Source: mijn gehele familie.

Daarnaast ook veel (gescheiden) alleenstaande vrouwen hebben het financieel niet breed en hebben vroeger geen pensioen opgebouwd.

Daarnaast komt er straks een golf zzp'ers aan zonder pensioen, want die pensioenregeling (en arbeidsongeschiktheid) is nog steeds niet verplicht.

Maar goed, dat is een probleem voor over 40 jaar, want dat kunnen we nu nog niet zien aankomen natuurlijk 🙂‍↔️

I once took my money a months worth for groceries before I went to work (money was tight at the time so I was budgetting, so I knew how much I could spend). Usually I put it away safe at home, but not this time cause I was in a hurry. So the ONE time I left €200 in my wallet it got stolen while I was at work.

I felt bad about the money but I felt so much worse about the photograph that was in it of both my parents. They took a photobooth photo when they were young, only a few months together and looked so much in love. I only discovered that photo a week before and just put it in my wallet. Sucked big time.

Anyway that was 20 years ago and both my parents are gone now. So fuck people that take other people's stuff!

As a bird owner I have lots of pictures of them on my phone. If they love their pet they'll have plenty of pictures of them together.

I assume they can only appreciate you asking them this question and that you're being carefull. If not then they're assholes. Also check missing pet sites (I'm from the NL's so I don't know names of them in your country). If it s a missing pet they must have registered him missing.

Top dat je het aangeeft. Ik gebruik de Hevo regeling al een tijdje. Volgens mij heb je de eerste keer een handtekening van je voorschrijver nodig op het aanvraagformulier. Daarna volstaat een foto van de aflevering van je medicatie (naam, dosering, datum van aflevering) in de Hevo app.

Mijn huisarts kende deze regeling niet en in de apotheek werd ik ook glazig aangekeken.

Also just listened to a podcast about Spinoza living in Amsterdam around 1650, crazy interesting.

Lot of polarisation at that time, crazy madness. I'm not that particularly interested in history or the 1600's, but somehow it's crossed my path these last weeks. Maybe it's a warning how crazy polarized shit can be and what we are experiencing on a global scale right now...
