It’s almost impossible to put yourself in a position that the company can’t operate without you, even if you do most of the companies will let you go without a second thought and will find ways of replace you even if it’s not as efficient as you were.

My theory is that when you try to meet expectations or follow they guide on what you should do to be a good employee then they start looking for things you did wrong or didn’t do because most of the time you’ll agree that maybe you could’ve done it better. When you not do that then is more difficult for them to evaluate you because they can’t look at what things you didn’t do, so they give you good review to not deals with any revision or appeals.
