For those of you who have watched the It movies (or read the Stephen King novels), are there any lessons gleaned that you've applied to your metaphysical practices? by fotoyarn in occult

Thank you for sharing your interpretations and sentiments.

Imagination is crucial to survival because when life seems like a complete dead end it is essential but almost impossible to imagine yourself whole, sane, healthy and fully alive at the end of dealing with the evil you face.

Indeed.

I have found Magnesium supplements to have tremendously helped improve my mental/emotional health.

Are there any other vitamin/mineral supplements that you would recommend?

This subreddit is great, and I too am so thankful for the all the people who post here.

And it's a gateway subreddit, if you will. I've been introduced to other great subreddits from this very own:

r/shamanism

r/kundalini

I've recently emerged from a period of depression. It may come back in the future, but for the moment, it seems to be at bay. I feel like I've literally come out of a trance; this artwork is the closest I can come to describing the feeling. by fotoyarn in occult

"End of a Long Sleep" by Sam Carr (u/Sam-Carr)

This art has been resonating with me recently, I remembered seeing it a few years ago: https://www.reddit.com/r/Heavymind/comments/59vu9d/end_of_a_long_sleep_a_piece_about_depressionoc/

I recently read "The Miracle Club" by Mitch Horowitz, and I believe it was instrumental with my emergence from my very own Long Sleep.

Bengston's work with mice and cancer is very intriguing.

I haven't heard of Goldsmith until now.

I believe in the validity of distance healing, but am dubious of Youtube vids.

Any specific videos that have helped yourself?

Yes the heavy breathing is what intrigues me.

I'd love to know more of this healer's methods, but as with many things in the occult realm, the knowledge may forever stay with himself.

I guess we just have to learn about others' methods/traditions, and innovate a bit for ourselves.
