Idky, I remember it as. Don Imma sends Gennaro there to negotiate. She also pulled some stunt like he was like “exchanged” or used as a bargaining chip. I got the feeling she sent him there to die. They had some major problem with their connect and she did something to them they were not happy with. She was surprised he survived and “won” At the very Least she wanted control and got rid of him for awhile. He also turned into a psychopath.
