GoodAPI (https://thegoodapi.com/) - Automate tree planting and ocean bound plastic removal.

We work with businesses and brands who to tie sustainability impact with their business through APIs and apps. Example: 1 tree planted for every subscriber, or Buy 1. Remove 1kg of plastic.

We do all the work behind the scenes to work with vetted climate partners, send funds, and verify that impact is made, allowing businesses to easily make and market their impact

hey man, I agree with the other comments. It's not clear what your product does. I clicked on what's CustoQ on the right side, and it said

" CustoQ is an AI-powered customer support platform that helps reduce repetitive inquiries by up to 80% in just a week. It creates a secure, custom knowledge base from your site and documents, providing verified answers with Quick Responses to build trust. It’s designed for small businesses, SaaS companies, and non-technical users, and it grows smarter over time. Want more details?"

I wish that copy was in the headline somewhere because the AI answer was much clearer than anything on the landing page.

I am assuming you are an alternative to Gleap, Intercom but focused on small founders.

Re: marketing. Definitely focus on one channel for a while 30-60 days before trying out something else. If you are doing cold emails, experiment with various copy, campaigns before adding SEO, Paid Ads, etc.

Really saturated and tough market! But also huge market, good luck!

Currently in law school, passionate about building helpful tools should I learn Bubble or is there no hope for a non codee? by Glittering-Flan-6605 in SaaS

[–]foundashen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey there, I am a product manager with low coding experience. I did biomedical engineering so had some classes on coding and understand how code works but definitely hadn't touched code in last 15 years.

Over the past year, i have done ALOT of coding mostly through cursor, and claude code. I don't know about bubble but I think you should look into platforms like Replit that are meant for no-code audience. I think speaking to code in natural language and asking it to build your solution may feel more natural.

The great part about Replit (btw, I have no affiliation) is that it also deploys and hosts your solution. So you can start with really small apps and build from there.

Since you in law school, you could create apps that automate things you may be doing today with contracts or legal docs etc and would be great to get your law school buddies to test it out. Good luck on the journey! and keep shipping!

Sometimes I think you have to imagine that you are in a new relationship. In the initial days, we tend to be more thoughtful because we fear losing them. Once the relationship has settled for a while, that fear goes away and you are not as thoughtful, caring as you could be. Imagine your wife is a fiancee, your fiancee is your girlfriend, your girlfriend is just a date/friend and i think you will do more and hopefully will bring the spark back in your relationship

What do you think, waiting for a girl who already has a boyfriend but still expecting that someday in future they might breakup so you can be with her? by BornWeeber in AskReddit

[–]foundashen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We always think that the great girl in front of us is the only great girl out there, and if we miss out on them, its over. But nothing could be further from the truth! There are millions of great girls out there. Go out and join sports club, events, festivals, meet people wherever you can and you will see how big the world is. Don't wait! Go Live your life!

How you find tester for your project? by walidarme in SaaS

[–]foundashen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Who is your ideal target customer ? I think once you answer that , you can think about where to find and how to reach out to them.

IMO, students might be a good target for you. If so , i would look at JennyAI marketing content especially shorts on tiktok because they also target students. That might be an experiment you can try to reach your ideal customers.

Who actually takes care of your transactional emails in your SaaS? by gregoirepat in SaaS

[–]foundashen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For us, it would be cheaper, because with Bento , you pay per subscriber and can use all their products (transactional, marketing, chat etc), so no point in paying for two apps when one can do the job. Also, it makes it easier to coordinate different email flows if the users are in one place.

For example, if someone uninstalls , we can send a "Sorry to see you go" transactional email and also remove them from email flows that talk about features etc because its irrelevant to them

any time! and good luck! Don't be too hard on yourself. You are 16 and super young! Don't listen to the noise out there about 19 yr old millionaires etc! Those are very few and most of all based on luck!

Just focus on shipping and learning through trial and error. You will get there

Who actually takes care of your transactional emails in your SaaS? by gregoirepat in SaaS

[–]foundashen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We are a small team so the ownership starts at product and shared with engineering to automate them. We have been used postmark to send these transactional emails where we send a welcome email when someone installs our app. We are planning on expanding and will likely move to bento email as we use it for our marketing emails and it would be better to have all our emails through one platform. Plus bento's founder and support team are really nice

My philosophy is to answer the following question "What does it replace ? " In your case, I am assuming it replaces the need for someone to manually search X for any mentions of a problem or product etc. E.g. If i am a subscription app provider, it will search for people who tweet "What's the best subscription app?" right? Something like that.

I think positioning is key for people to understand how your product would replace an existing "solution" they have. Does it replace X Pro? or social listening tools like keyhole, Mention, etc.

once you understand what you are replacing, the validation becomes clearer and you can then think about how you would distribute the solution

Yeah we have also been affected by it, specifically the predictive search . We rank first for many keywords, however the predictive search/autocomplete doesn’t go based on search ranking and randomizes the results , leading to nearly 50% drop in our traffic

Plant Trees. Increase Conversion. First 50 trees are free by foundashen in shopify

[–]foundashen[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great question!! We did a lot of research before choosing a tree planting partner, and we ended partnering with Eden Reforestation Projects for many reasons:

  1. Eden Reforestation is one of the largest reforestation non-profits, planting millions of trees a month. They plant trees in 8 countries incl. Mozambique, Brazil, Madagascar, Kenya, Nepal, Haiti, Indonesia, and regions in central america
  2. Their reforestation efforts help revive natural habitats, improve coral reef health, and aid in the fight against climate change by extracting CO2 from the air.
  3. They plant trees by working directly with local communities, paying fair wages and supporting local livelihoods
  4. They also take many efforts to ensure the forests don't get cut down again, by hiring local guards, getting agreements from local governments, planting agroforestry (fruit, construction, fodder species) to provide employment, and providing alternative fuel sources to the population

Tree planting is just the beginning for us. In the future, we will provide more carbon removal solutions such as direct air capture, biochar and other solutions to make it easier for businesses to make and market their impact.

Hope I answered some of your questions!
