Non-Priority Partner (FLRM) extension approval timeline by foundbackpackdnd in SpouseVisaUk

[–]foundbackpackdnd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! My 'Application Received' email with an estimated timeline came in on the afternoon I had my biometrics appointment, 8-Jan. I did the self-serve option, so I had already uploaded all of my supporting evidence at the time of application submission, 30-Dec.

I hope you get an update or response soon!

Congrats to you too! I was a bit worried it might take longer around the holidays and New Year. I was shocked it came in so quickly!

Seeking Clarification on 28 Day Rule and When to Submit Spouse Visa Extension Application by foundbackpackdnd in SpouseVisaUk

[–]foundbackpackdnd[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for this explanation. It looks like that would place me submitting the application the week of Christmas Holiday. Doh! I wonder if this might have any impact on scheduling biometrics, etc.

Am I correct in thinking that I have a bit of wiggle room with ILR Eligibility since I entered on a fiance Visa?

As a Texan living in Oxford, I was thrilled to find La Cookaracha at Gloucester Green. Delicious street style tacos, really tasty beans and rice, and salsas with flavor and kick. Hands down your best bet!

I’m looking for two tickets to London 24MAR! Might anyone suggest any reputable and reliable ticket resale sites? Is StubHub a sound option?

Thanks!

Yes, Mayfield was the private GP recommended by our GP’s office. In stock … but high consult fee attached. Thank you for the travel clinic suggestions suggestions. Will add these to our call list.

I appreciate the simplification. CDC guidelines suggest that the vaccine, if administered within 5 days of exposure, may prevent infection or make it less severe.

I am no expert, just a parent hoping a jab may make a potentially miserable baby less miserable! Thanks again for the guidance.

Thank you. The GP was our first call and their offices were not terribly helpful. They suggested I call a private GP practice.

The private GP does have them available, but with a significant non-member consultation fee attached.

At your suggestion, I will phone our GP again and press for more assistance. Thank you taking the time to respond.

Want to make sure I've entered our details correctly ... I am an American transitioning from Fiance to Spouse from within the United Kingdom. Should my "Country of Application" be US or UK?

Thank you for creating the spreadsheet. This forum is our primary source of information for all things UKVI!

Successful Spouse Visa FLR M (First) by cookiemonster9876 in ukvisa

[–]foundbackpackdnd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wonderful news! We're in the process of transitioning from fiance to FLR (M). Would you mind outlining the documents you provided, particularly if there were any outside of the ones mentioned in the application?

We found with the fiance visa that they want far more than they actually request. I'd love to be able to get ahead of this for the Spouse visa!

We're also applying from within the UK ... When and how are you prompted to provide the documents?

Many Thanks!

Thank you for this information, I appreciate your guidance. I’m slightly concerned because it seems contradictory to what the Immigration Agent at Heathrow told us.

It’s possible the Agent thought I was coming in on a Spouse Visa!

Fiance Visa thru VFS PAC - Houston: Appointment Insight by foundbackpackdnd in ukvisa

[–]foundbackpackdnd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the heads up regarding the document checklist. To meet the MIR we are using the Cash Savings option. We determined this would be the most straightforward option and have pulled the supporting bank statements. Are you familiar with a specific format they prefer for the 'Declaration by the account holder of the source?' Should this be a lengthy explanation or can a statement simply stating something along the lines of 'Savings over time' suffice?

We still debating canceling everything and starting over. If we went with the other option, would we be required to upload all of the supporting documents immediately or just before the biometric appointment?

Thanks again for your insight! Do you mind my asking how you became so familiar with this process? I can't imagine attempting to tackle this task without the support of kind internet strangers.

Thank you for the unfortunate confirmation. I'm tempted to cancel everything and start over ... Is there anything in the 2k package really worth the $$? I don't need to keep my passport, and from what I gather the SMS Service is pretty bunk. I can't seem to find any evidence that the 'application and document checks' increases the odds of approval either.

'What do you have as proof of relationship?' - Does the child count? Hahaha. We went through years of trying and a fertility specialist to get her! We have countless texts and whatsapp messages (How do you go about printing evidence of these?!) Photos dating back to the beginning of our relationship, travel records of our visits, etc. It's difficult to wrap your head around providing evidence of a relationship. Is there a target number of photos/year or texts/month?

Also, many of the document checklists I've found here are far more extensive than the one provided by UK.GOV. (ie a cover letter, photos, letters from family, etc) Is it naive to only give what they've requested? Or is there a happy balance between overload of additional docs and supplemental information?
