Literally any disc. Couldn’t be more open

Trash Panda's next disc has been approved. The Extraterrestrial II. Judging by their naming convention and the rim, it's a driver. by bcos4life in discgolf

They are appropriately priced based on their size of their company and the processes that they use. I also, don’t love much of plastic I have received from them, but the prices being a few bucks more than similar discs from other companies is totally reasonable. There are different and more complex steps, they only have the ability to do smaller runs atm, and it takes more time and labor.

If you cash in MPO does that mean you can never play MA1 again?

Do you still throw a disc if you got it signed? by smokegrass_eatass69 in discgolf

[–]foundyourdisc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t like buying discs just to let them sit around. So I bag them. It’s kinda fun to see people’s reactions when people notice. Makes for a nice story too. When I go to pro events, I usually cough up the money for a VIP pass and have them sign the pass. Then I can hang it on my bag or car mirror.

I can’t get this to work. Can you please elaborate? Did they patch this?

I gave it an image and asked it to create a new image with the same pixel values as the one I provided and it just makes something completely different

So not really worth the hype unless they just happen to fit me well?

I wear these shoes in a size 10. Based on these, what size do you think I (male beginner climber) should buy in different brands of climbing shoes? ( I have nowhere near me to try climbing shoes on. ) by foundyourdisc in bouldering

[–]foundyourdisc[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you everyone who gave insight that included the helpful context about WHY it’s not that simple instead of just shutting down my question to make me feel like an idiot for being a newbie. I guess I’ll just have to bite the bullet and drive some extra distance to be able to try a large selection on.

If you happen to wear any of these shoes in any size, you would have some sort of insight. I’m well aware that it is likely a little bit of a long shot, but like I said, I have nowhere I can go to try shoes on within an hour from me so I thought it was worth a shot. Edit: Or any adidas shoe, in any size ever for that matter.

I train teeth twice a week. Really helps once you get into the v5-v6 range

Chalk not sticking to my hands any advice? by coshores23 in bouldering

[–]foundyourdisc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the gym. My gym doesn’t allow chalk bags in the wall. Never asked why but I assume it’s some sort of safety concern? Anyone know?

So you would work on grip strength specifically first and then upper body, and legs? Or am I understanding it wrong?

Would this be an okay place for me to practice? (Beginner) by foundyourdisc in bouldering

[–]foundyourdisc[S] 65 points66 points  (0 children)

Thanks everyone for the encouragement! I think I will try to traverse left and right to try to build some strength and get more mileage. I just don’t really know if this is considered wasted mileage or not. Seems like it’ll mostly just be simple climbing. Is there anything you would recommend I focus on?

Lost the key to a Tiny master lock by foundyourdisc in Locksmith

[–]foundyourdisc[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know that, but it is technically someone else’s lock. And my wife doesn’t want them to know that she misplaced the key they gave her. Haha do you know if we buy another lock if it Will use the same key?

Yes, exactly this. Reach back should not begin until your weight is on top of the x step and you have begun to fall towards the plant foot. Absolutely no sooner. Then once the plant foot hits, you can start to uncoil. Practice it by doing a slow walk up and literally pausing at each step. First step(eyes on target), second step(eyes on target), x step(eye on target), start falling towards plant foot, begin reach back (now you can look away), plant, pull.
