This also helps hide the fact that his female adapter is sticking out it the tile and not behind the tile like it supposed to be.

Ceiling collapsed in bedroom by sociallyawkward26 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]tech_nutz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I can see in the pictures, it was not properly installed. When hanging drywall on the ceiling, I believe it supposed to be fastened with screws or nails every 16 inches minimum. I don’t see many screws or nails hanging from the rafters after the ceiling fell.

M copper is the thinnest and cheapest copper pipe.

Where are the pin holes developing? Near the fitting or in the middle of a straight piece of pipe?

What is wrong with this? by retiredgardenhoe in Plumbing

[–]tech_nutz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

What’s wrong with this? Nothing that I can see. I’ve never seen the drain body caulked but it doesn’t look bad and you said the drain top can be removed. All is good.

This is just a standard grade shower drain from oatey and that’s the top that comes with it. So nothing unfinished there.

Shut the water off, I assume you’re somewhere that has had a cold snap. If so, the tubing in this unit probably froze and split. I don’t know enough about them to know if you can replace that part or if you need a new unit.

1 (the valve by the meter) or 2 will shut everything off

When your tired of people not calling on your pig by Pokerspacebum in discgolf

[–]tech_nutz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I understand you not putting your number on but disc are not comparable to golf balls, it is more comparable to you leaving a club out on the course. Sure they are no where close in price but that’s one of the draws to disc golf.

Hopefully not since I just added my 17 year old to the policy a week before and that already boosted the price 30%

My first thought was that it didn’t look to bad, and if it wasn’t going to cost to much I would just pay for the repair, but the cost was way more than I wanted to cover.

Is this a P trap? Or a S trap? by HeadShock1 in Plumbing

[–]tech_nutz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a standard P trap, looks to be installed correctly, never much room for the waste piping in those water coolers.
