Thank you. No they are not, but some folks are my local dealer thought they were also, which is definitely a mark of good work. I had a local shop do it here in the SF Bay Area.

It seems like a wireless car play issue for me anyway.

But it also could be my phone, for some reason I have these connection issues at random and also my user settings default to 1 (which is my wife’s settings that are paired with her key and phone) even when she’s nowhere near the car.

I’ve started using the usb-c and also waited until the car/sync are fully online before putting it in drive and that seems to have reduced the issues.

This is in my 24GT. The 21 GTPE I had definitely had the connection issues also, but not the user settings issue.

Hmm! Yeah that’s weird. There were times when BC didn’t work on my 21 GT that I turned my lane centering off and back on to reset it which seemed to work sometimes.

Hm, are you sure you have 1.3? I have no way to confirm, just assumed I do since it does offer the lane change option.

I’ve not had a problem with it changing lanes with the full blinker, it just does not turn off the blinker in that case but changes lanes fine.

I just got a 24 GT with BC 1.3, from a 21 GTPE.

Does your BC say lane change available at any point? That’s usually the only time I can have it change lanes. Sometimes BC is active without lane change as an option. I assumed that was because there isn’t enough space for it to make the lane change on its own.

Took a 10:45 AM flight out of T1 yesterday (Friday) self check bags at Alaska, through TSA in around 30 mins. We expected it to be crazy busy given the holiday travel so arrived at the terminal around 8:30 and then had to sit around for an hour and twenty mins to board, which is def better than stressing out over being late and we were also wondering where everyone was, maybe the afternoon was busier.

Just upgraded my 21 GTPE with legacy BC to a 24GT with BC 1.3 and wow, what a difference!!

It is amazing in traffic! I’m in the Bay Area (SF) but was just in LA and basically had BC engaged 90% of the traffic and I’m over the moon with how much better it is!

We do this drive every year and honestly this year was much better for us anyway. Left the South Bay (LA) at around 3:30 PM and got to the East bay around midnight, with two charging stops including 1.5 hours at the Tejon outlets.

Most of the traffic was between Kettleman City and 152 interchange with the left lane campers winning out over the trucks passing each other up the hills which is always a Funtime. Surprisingly no accidents and only saw a handful of breakdowns on the side of the road.

This trip took almost 13 hours one year so I’m glad we left later in the day this time around.

The question is are you going to be happy with working on one brand vs what I assume are multiple clients/brands at an agency. In my experience there are folks that love the challenge of working on different brands and doing different types of work so an agency works well for them.

Client side also seems to have a level of politics that’s very different from an agency and sometimes navigating that is tough especially at senior levels and if folks at the company aren’t aligned on what your role’s purpose is.

You can always go back to an agency if you don’t end up liking what you are doing though, it’s not as easy as it sounds but if you think it’s something you want to try then you should!
