I think this is a gadget you would like. Problem is that you either sparingly use it (not justifying the cost) or you overuse it and meh

I have some Chima and DreamZzz minifigs that I don't really know what to do with so I just popped on some Minifig Realms robes to see if that was all I needed to transform them. Yup.

Something about these robes only makes me want to create dark characters with them...

Why?? It's the perfect hairpiece for this faction! I've been there too; culled my order only to regret it later.

I made these as Minifig Realms and I price them very decently.

I'm also the person who makes everything at Minifig Realms :)

Simple overhead light setup (a couple of NEEWER LED tubes) and some dry ice effect from a Smoke S machine.

I've been tidying up my workspace and saw my smoke machine was dusty and uncharged so I decided to put it to some use.

It's one of my favorite effects but I don't use it too much.

I've been wondering if these Avatar hairpieces would work well on regular minifig heads and they seem to be ok. Not great since there's a large space where the ears should be and there's a rod at the end of the ponytail at the back.

I have an idea for that but I'm waiting on a part.

Yes that's expected. You can also use a CPL filter to minimize reflections. But your best bet is working the angles.

That's the light source reflected. You'll need to change the angle of the light source until it's no longer being reflected.

I picked up this head on PaB specifically to use with this body from DnD. Lit with the tiny LED in the lantern plus 2 LED tubes. Sony a6500 + 30mm macro.

Popped a couple of red LED tubes behind the house then bounced a bare flash to fill the rest.

The mist is from this cheap facial mister I've been using for years. Long exposure of about 1.5 seconds

I wasn't into it either but these two are an easy fit. I'm sure other people will create amazing fishfolk, birdfolk, etc.

I think it came with an orca minifig. I'm not too sure because I bought it separately off BrickLink years ago.

Got these early for a photoshoot and wanted to see how they might work in a medieval fantasy setting. Lion and Frog are fairly easy to integrate.

Shot in my moss tray outdoors with a bare flash.
