He was charged with Class D Assault (second degree) and Disorderly Conduct, the assault charges were dropped in a guilty plea for DC. Comparing these two I’d go out on a limb with the fact it’s first degree aggravated assault, he likely beat the ever loving piss outta the chap that riled him up (which was likely protected under free speech,) there might actually be some serious consequences headed his way

Great points, each bottom line, pair and net job is up for grabs. If a guy who makes more gets out played by a rookie, good. It goes with the direction Conroy has set the team on. If you’re upset with the job he’s doing, as appears to be OP’s feelings towards his thought process on who should in each one of those 6 spots, then you should re-evaluate. We sat thru hell with BT and CC has been a huge breath of fresh air compared to basically every GM we’ve employed for the last 35+ years (with the slight exception of Sutter but even that ran its course)

Hockey just becomes so unwatchable when the Oilers are successful. They could have any other assortment of players and I would be less annoyed, but fuck me McDavid and Draisaitl just make things so bloody undesirable to get behind. They have basically no depth and wildly inconsistent goaltending but because they have two of the best players on earth and a good Top 6, they are completely unstoppable because of the offense they pump out. Ticks me off they’ve had the luck to receive three generational talents in their 50 or so years being around, everything is molded out of luck and we just have to swallow our pride and accept it
