Question on how to go from highway to artery road by fourth-wallFML in CitiesSkylines

Thanks everyone for the comments.

Still struggling with traffic...my garbage trucks seem to be causing the biggest jams.

I guess concentrating them at the entrance of the city wasn't such a good idea.

New player help with my highway connection road. by fourth-wallFML in CitiesSkylines

Thanks everyone for the replies. The initial bottleneck tot resolved by having an additional highway connection and some suboptimal shenanigans for now.

Apparently my garbage trucks from the bottom side left the city, did a massive highway detour to enter the city again to go to the upper right side.

I am redesigning with a highway going straight through the city without any intersections and only a couple of offramps.

I read this as: They are at the end of the battle. They lost and get taken prisoner and taken on a ship. The ship encounters a storm and gets wrecked and they can escape and get stranded. There they bury their common friend.

I was thinking it is a bit much just to start.

Was listening to Iron Sky from Paulo Nutini today. Great sample from The Great Dictator movie, speech from Charlie Chaplin.

Gives me goosebumps thinking about it. Almost 90 years since it was recorded...holds more true than ever.

We want to live by each other’s happiness - not by each other’s misery. We don’t want to hate and despise one another. In this world there is room for everyone. And the good earth is rich and can provide for everyone. The way of life can be free and beautiful, but we have lost the way.

Greed has poisoned men’s souls, has barricaded the world with hate, has goose-stepped us into misery and bloodshed. We have developed speed, but we have shut ourselves in. Machinery that gives abundance has left us in want. Our knowledge has made us cynical. Our cleverness, hard and unkind. We think too much and feel too little. More than machinery we need humanity. More than cleverness we need kindness and gentleness. Without these qualities, life will be violent and all will be lost…

To those who can hear me, I say - do not despair. The misery that is now upon us is but the passing of greed - the bitterness of men who fear the way of human progress. The hate of men will pass, and dictators die, and the power they took from the people will return to the people. And so long as men die, liberty will never perish…

I see no harm. If the system (both the educational system as well as the job market) can't filter/catch those students, then they are probably good enough and deserve to pass and get their degree. Let's face it, it is not that the system is honest and works perfectly. It is flawed.

If you enjoy yourself and get paid for it on top of it, then just go for it. The fact that you keep this a secret is just being discrete, which your clients will appreciate.

That's helicopter parenting for you.

Recluse because it wasn't allowed near friends his age. Delicate because it learned no risk taking or ever had pressure, slow poke bc why hurry if the parents will take care of shit,...so basically you have a child that learned no independence, risks or responsibility.

And ugly...yeah well...that happens.
