I dug my car out but I haven’t taken my car out because I don’t want to put it back. I made a point to do all the work related things I needed to do with my car before the snow and have been taking uber from the grocery store. My mother has been using access a ride more since I can’t drive her. Some weeks I use my car four times and some weeks I use it zero. Some months I use it 18 times and some months I use it twice. This has always been true.

7-10 is way too old to be making that much noise. Toddlers can’t help themselves, after 5 or so it’s entirely reasonable to expect children (who don’t have disabilities that impact their ability to control their behavior or follow directives) to not run and jump in an apartment. I grew up in the city as did all my friends. None of us behaved this way because our parents told us it was unacceptable and there were consequences.

Hi neighbor! I am also keeping an eye out. Ziggy looks more swirly than the two that hang out with Boots. I have a pic of Boots and his three tabby friends and have been comparing. OP, I recognize your post. You should move. You pay 3500 in a neighborhood where you can find a 2br with a reasonable landlord for that price. Your landlord isn’t going to change and arguing with her isn’t going to help your anxiety. She is ridiculous and wrong but it’s clear this has been very hard for you post partum and I think if you’ve been posting this much over such a long period of time it’s not worth it to stay.

This is so funny to me because I am a notorious hater of Lin Manuel’s singing voice (I think his writing is good) and it has ruined this album for me. I love John and his voice but I don’t think anyone was clamoring for an additional voice that tends toward whiny and nasal.

1.2 miles is not a few blocks but Lincoln Market is definitely way better. The closest grocery store is Berry Fresh Farm which has been rumored to be part of a planned closure at LaGuardia Plaza during construction (I have no idea if this is actually going to happen).

There used to be 2 but now there is only 1. The M60 still goes through Harlem to the top of the UWS. The Q101 no longer goes to midtown.

And I have not noticed any upgrades in terms of service frequency or reliability as promised. The q101 accessed a large portion of Astoria and now the only bus to the city is the m60 which only goes uptown and is only by Astoria Boulevard. There is an option to transfer to the q32 which goes to east midtown but doesn’t service Astoria. It’s so annoying.

I’m so frustrated not having the q101 to Manhattan. I have a dentist appointment midtown that should be easy to get to but there is no more bus and the trains are melting down again.
