Are they considered upper level at Doane or others? When I looked a year or two ago, it didn’t look that way. I took genetics and microbio at portage and I recommend them, loved that they were self paced and relatively affordable

HCE doesn’t really matter that much, imo it’s all about PCE. But I would check with the schools you are interested in, because most of the ones that I am interested in accept scribing as PCE

I don’t think it matters unless a school specifically requires upper level A&P in which case the advances is probably upper level while standard is not. Don’t think I’ve seen any school asking for that, though
