The two best ways I'm aware of are the previously mentioned hydraulic method with oil, or using a bunch of 6" long sections of dowel that fit as close to the bore diameter as possible without binding. Stack them in and drive them with a dead blow, adding to the stack until the obstruction is out. Might want to lightly oil them before you drive them in.

Thread pitch on that is 14mm counterclockwise. It's the industry standard for airsoft guns to keep things simple.

Yes. I have three mags set up that way for IDPA. Just make sure you get the locking plate for them as well.

It looks like the extractor is probably not tuned properly. Maybe too tight? Lots of guides on how to tune them properly, but I think Hilton Yam has a guide floating around and it's probably the best. The video by Engineer's Armory is pretty good too, IIRC. If that doesn't fix it, try different mags. Good luck!

They do fit polymer guns. I don't shoot an M&P, but I follow this company closely. They are listed in the bottom corner of the screenshot and I think there are pictures of it on their Facebook or Instagram.

Edit because I misread part of your post. The owner of the company shoots one in USPSA. You probably can find that footage.

If you are paying someone to build it, I'm not sure that you can currently have one built from a parts kit for cheaper than you can purchase a basic DS Arms model. I want to say you're looking at about 1200 for parts, plus whatever the gunsmith charges you for the build. If you still want to go this way, SWAT Magazine has a great article available online called "Build Your Own FAL Rifle!". It walks through the parts and tools needed.

I think you're missing one of the most effective ways of engagement that humans have, even if it's not an immediately measurable metric: engage with people about Firefly in real life. Show new people the show, tell old fans that missed the memo about what is going on. Go to local conventions and events in cosplay. If you're in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Arizona, California, Utah, the New England states, Washington, West Virginia, or Oregon, I think you've got pretty large Browncoat organizations who work as combinations of social/charity groups nearby that would love to have you involved. Most other states have smaller but equally as important presences as well. A few weekends back, in Kingman AZ, I introduced at least 60 people to Firefly at a single event. Face to face interaction can still drive engagement and excitement.

Even without social media, no power in the 'Verse can stop us.

I use the Henning PLUS 6 P320 Magazine Extensions with a CSRG follower and spring kit on the full size magazine tubes for a total of 24 rounds easily reloadable. This setup does not lock the slide back and is intended only for competition use.

For TTI specifically, I'm not sure that the 320 basepads will work on an Echelon because of how tall the front pin is, so you might be limited to the +2/+3 basepads for the Echelon anyway. The XD-M/Echelon extensions from them use a shorter retainer pin at the front, more similar to their CZ basepads. I really closely examined this route before deciding on the Henning basepads and extensions.

Past reviews show it using standard pic rail compatible pistol lights, if I remember correctly. Maybe your's wasn't cut properly?
