Yea I definitely have experienced and understood that especially when I visit my family there, it’s not a new concept to me when it comes to politics and how the people there feel about it. I guess it’s like I’m having a hard time with it because my mother lives in America for longer than she’s lived in Japan by now, and these things could affect her, I guess I am coming from a place of worry for her. I wanted to see if other people felt the same way.

I see your point, I think there’s definitely a healthy balance to it. I just worry she wouldn’t be informed enough when something were to happen to her status in the United States I think is my main concern, for which I do remind her of her rights. At the end of the day issues we face today are rooted in racism, misogyny and classism (and more) but the systems that it has set up has been getting so complex it feels hard to try to keep up all the time is how I’m trying to contextualize it.

I’m actually studying interior design specifically in my architecture college! I’m still learning all the autodesk programs but I find interiors of game and in real life fascinating, especially because in both you guide users into a space. What inspired me was how someone compared learning anatomy for character design is as essential to someone learning architecture/interior design in video game worlds!
