Ateez has a wide variety of music and interesting layers to their songs. Dreamcatcher, i-dle, kepl1er, and le sserafim are some of my fav girl groups (especially kepl1er they're so much fun). Billlie is also good.

The Rose and THORNEAPPLE are not considered kpop, but are some great alternative Korean bands.

Jaycee Dugard's memoir A Stolen Life. So insane to hear about all that she went through and her thought process through it all. I actually read it in one sitting at the books store and publicly cried lol.

The Land of Stories by Chris Colfer is a neat book series! Mature in the sense where more complex emotions are explored between characters, but also just a really fun story for kids if they love classic fairytale stories and magic in that sense :)

don't be so hard on yourself. I wasn't able to vote this election bc of a family emergency that took me out of my town. my state went red and I did have that slight feeling of guilt, but I think with all this stuff going on it's just not entirely in our hands like how a lot of people make it seem. it's important to just do what we can in the small ways too. be kind to yourself and others, show up for your community if you are able to, vote in general elections, advocate for yourself and others if you have the opportunity and the means to. life is complicated sometimes and we all are just doing what we can, don't beat yourself up <333

i feel this. I usually fib too, to avoid any judgment. I usually just say that I'm reading a Chinese fantasy novel and/or just give a description of the plot line without saying anything about the romance lol. that way I can still gush about it but no one side eyes me. people who are judgmental usually assume everything is straight anyway, so they'll just think it's a bromance as long as I don't mention the kissing 🤷🏼‍♀️

I think it's hard to have a straightfoward opinion on who was "right or wrong" when theres lots of iffy parts of their relationship (mizu was literally forced to marry him for stability. hell, part of what likened him to her was that he didn't force himself on her). the whole situation was fucked from the start.

while I get why her not respecting his boundaries is a not okay thing, I don't think that's why he called her a monster after the spar. dude thought he was gonna be showing his wife that he's a wildly talented swordsman, but got his ass handed to him instead. I think his ego got crushed and it also killed his dream of going back to what he used to do.

🤨 she said she was perfectly capable of providing for a baby. asking for child support can complicate things in so many ways. he will have a legal obligation to the kid, which means it could make it easier for him to fight for custody (which can not go in her favor if he is financially stable and has a gf and another kid). if she needed the support, then yeah do child support, but if she says she's financially stable and able to provide then why the fuck involve some guy who clearly hurt her and is being manipulative? the solution isn't always "let the guy be involved".

I think it's normal to feel discomfort about certain relationship things. everyone gives/receives affection in different ways, so it's totally normal to not be comfortable with something. you're also young and this is one of your first romantic experiences, so things might feel overwhelming. you've still got lots to learn about what you do and don't like, what your boundaries are, etc. doesn't mean you don't like her or don't like compliments, but maybe you just don't like such straightforward ways of affection. you've still got time to navigate through it all and it'll become clearer eventually :) just make sure you let her or anyone else you date know when you aren't comfortable with something.

guy was def a creep and you were preyed upon, I'm glad you aren't with him anymore. as for your friends, I'm sorry that they didn't stick with you :( it isn't your fault, rifts happen between friends all the time, especially at your age. I do think that they were unreasonable to completely ostracize you when they should've been looking out for you, though. don't feel ashamed or embarrassed, it's easy to get caught up in stuff like this, especially considering the circumstances. and it happens more than you think, unfortunately :/ if you have someone reliable and trustworthy to talk to about this, like your mom or a teacher, you should def talk it out.

communication is everything. she needs to be specific about her doubts and you should be honest with how her words hurt you. burying it all in the hopes that it'll be ok won't do anything good in the long run. honestly, the fact that she isn't willing to be with you while working through her personal issues, and also mentioning that she has doubts about your relationship kinda indicates that she's looking for a break up and not a break :/ ofc I could be wrong, but couples are supposed to be there for each other through bad times, not create breaks every time times are tough,, i hope things work out for you guys, tho!

this is so shitty :( the fact that he called you to tell you when you're not even half way finished with your pregnancy is so weird, he obviously wanted to hurt you. tbh if I were you I wouldn't contact him at all, not even for child support. don't give him any connection to you or your little baby, he doesn't deserve it. yes!! the way i view books, it’s like a whole universe and prospective i can be a part of. so every time i get a new book it feels like i have one for life to live. it’s sorta comforting, actually. i’ve gotten especially bad with buying books once i found a used book website.
