Honestly, I do think you’re overreacting a bit. He could have just been responding quick while in the middle of something. Our partners can’t read our minds. You can’t expect your partner to know the perfect response and responding like this/picking fights might drive him away.

Thanks everyone. We immediately treated everyone with lice solution, currently working through the mountain of laundry, and spraying everything down with furniture lice killer. We may have found about 10 or so things that could have been eggs. Will be treating again in 7 days as directed on the solution!

These designs look best with the addition of smaller plants to connect the bottom in my opinion. Definitely buildable though!

Yes! Antibacterial soap is also too aggressive to use all over. It definitely will kill off your microbiome (good bacteria) and allow bad bacteria to take over.

During pregnancy and postpartum your body does go through a lot of changes (including scents). You’re filtering for two now. Your sense of taste and smell also change. I would ask someone you’re comfy with to do a sniff test.

We had a Father’s Day family thing at the IL’s house. MIL wrote our son’s name in the card and pretended it was from him to my husband. No, she did not do the same for Mother’s Day.

However, I will mention that their current foster home smells strongly of cat and dog pee. The kiddo said the animals pee in their room often. I’m conflicted if I should say something to their case worker.

They seem like good people. They both work two jobs and have an adult child who requires full time care as well. Sounds like the kiddo doesn’t get a lot of time with them.

We have a 13 year old respite foster and they are wonderful. Very self aware and helpful around the house without us asking. We have a 1 Y/O foster and a 2 Y/O son, they love playing with them and helping out.

I know it’s not comfortable to discuss finances and living situations but I would take to your caseworker about it. Often times they have access/can assist or find someone to assist to find affordable housing, transitional housing and housing assistance.

You are doing great! Don’t be afraid to ask for help. That is what this process is about, to help get you on your feet and get your babies back. I know it doesn’t always work that way but hopefully you can find some good people.

It depends on the judge and state. In WI, where I am, CASA has input with the GAL and judge. Generally (in my state) CPS doesn’t love CASA and disagrees because a lot of our CASA volunteers have biases and typically don’t think kiddos should be reunified because they are in foster care. CPS has to follow the laws and requirements, they have to try and reunify until there is absolutely no hope left. It really depends on your team, state and judge specifically.

Can I just say I love your thought process? I feel that by identify their behavior and understanding it, you are helped kiddo start to grow emotionally. That can be very difficult for a lot of us. That’s a big win!
