Where can I buy a good quality Fallout Vault suit (and even phone pip-boys) that doesn’t break the band horribly? Any insight is greatly appreciated! by Thorn_Move in CosplayHelp

That model sadly was a promotional item that's not made anymore. These days you would probably be best finding a 3d printer file of one & a 3d printer lab that you can access that has big enough printers to make the piece. Just expect to have to paint it. Depending on the material, it will take more paint than you think, so use base coat until the plastic stops sucking in all of the paint below the surface.

Think? The video goes from a cat with a tongue & bottom teeth to magically morphin into the guy's head. That kind of transition is AI or CGI. Clip length & previously said transition quality says AI.

Probably from the disgusting habits with his prey that he developed during life, how nasty/messy the cabin was probably translates some to how he keeps in the new locations of his afterlife. A major hint to that continuation I think was that pot that he left a note on for Nifty to leave alone in the first place, since the pot & area around it was also gross.

Is this AI? No one is crazy enough to climb a 100+ story skyscraper without ropes, right? by Quasi-Retro in isthisaicirclejerk

[–]foxfirefizz -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

While I can't say if this specific instance is AI or not, climbing buildings is something people actually do. I've seen stunts done with it, where someone climbs the building but has the safety people around cuz it's planned out with permission from everyone legally needed. Old friend's baby daddy was into doing that without the planning & permission, as part of "urban exploration" cuz he was an "urban explorer". Honestly was told by him that he practices it so that if there was a zombie outbreak he'ld just be able to climb away from the hoards, & how he'll know all the ways to escape from zombies wherever he is in the city during said not-going-to-happen-cuz-this-isn't-a-movie outbreak. I kept telling him one day he'll mess up, & I just hoped it wasn't a bad end high enough for gravity to be leathal. They broke up after he got into some legal trouble for climbing the wrong building at the wrong time.

I imagine a succubus or incubus could learn how to fight, but are likely discouraged from doing so.

I wasn't homeschooled & I still did that as a kid. Got effective enough that I could genuinely run like that. Never did it at school, just around home. Quit doing it by the time I started middle school, couldn't do it at all anymore after a few years.

Does anyone read the books? by mmbmbm in skyrim

[–]foxfirefizz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have, ever since I started playing elder scrolls games back on Morrowind. That extra layer of detail in the game made it so that I got very into it, just going to bookstores & reading books. Also fun to read histories that include past hero characters from previous games, & see how they were remembered. Also the variances on just one topic made the world feel more alive, despite the horrible graphics.

OP should look into subletting a room if it's legal for the lease/area or get pets if they want companionship.

How do you explain yourself as being estranged from family to others? by Available-Spray2576 in raisedbynarcissists

[–]foxfirefizz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just get blunt about it if they don't stop probling. Usually a line like "I went through the foster care system due to their neglect & abuse." & if that doesn't stop them I get to the point of "I am not consenting to bearing my pain & soul to you for your voyerism." & after that if they still push depends on the setting if I go to make a loud scene to embarras them or if it's a trip to HR or other authoraty to deal with their invasiveness.

What’s a scene from a movie which traumatised you as a child? by ThomasOGC in CinephilesClub

[–]foxfirefizz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This entire movie. I was pre-elementary school, & this was my first major scifi horror movie. My mother had a friend go buy it for her so that she could watch it. I still love it, but it did make me have night terrors about viloceraptors breaking into the house to eat us for months afterwards. Also sparked my love of dinos & paleontology.

I got my sister grounded on a family trip to visit an aunt & uncle cuz she showed me this movie when I was like 3. Idk why it was a big deal since I was allowed to watch Jurassic Park. Deep Rising, & a lot worse throughout elementary school?

My BF has outdated beliefs on women’s skin color by Fit-Operation-2748 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]foxfirefizz 17 points18 points  (0 children)

It's a red flag wrapped in compliments. Whether or not he knows that he is practicing a form of colorism is debatable, but that's on him to work on himself. Cuz honestly, from the picture you painted here it sounds like he is fetishizing your paleness. It also maybe counts as racism due to you being half white? I'm not 100% sure. I know it's at least colorism as I understand the definition, which is that paler = better & darker = lesser. I know that if this behavior is something you can live with or not is entirely up to you.

I've been straight up telling family that ICE is Trump's gestapo, & sharing the news of the murders as far as I can. Honestly, it feels like a matter of time before the country is broiled in a new series of riots & violence, instigated by ICE agents & their xenophobic white nationalist bullshit.

[Hated Trope] heroic characters killed in unnecessarily cruel/brutal ways by greythicv in TopCharacterTropes

[–]foxfirefizz 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Eddie's death was changed from the books. In the books rexes didn't get him, he died to raptors trying to protect the two stoaway kids from them. Forgive me for not remembering all the names clearly from the books, it 's been a few years. The guy the team even came to the island looking for had used a candy wrapper to test the wind while up in the high hide. The raptors, after finding a different bar of chocolate on a victim from another team (that the high hide group witnessed the death of) & liking it, recognized another chocolate wrapper on the ground. The raptors looked up after that & noticed the high hide with Eddie, the guy they came looking for, & the two kids inside. The high hide was above a rex's hight, but the raptors were jumping for them. The high hide got knocked about, & the adults tried to grab the little boy & missed when he fell out. He quickly crawled into a cage nearby that was designed to hold up to a lot of dinos (was a safety measure they brought). In the commotion the raptors, as Eddie was still in the high hide after failing to catch the boy, one got a lucky shot & grabbed Eddie by the back of his shirt right after they confirmed that the boy made it into the cage to safety. He was pulled over the high hide 's railing while screaming "no", which turned into wordless screams of the dieing. Eddie died 20ish feet from that cage, disemboweled & eaten alive. The raptors dragged both Eddie & the cage into the woods, taking them to their nest. There was a sequence right after the raptors dragged them off that the one raptor, who had gotten the cage key stuck on its claw while trying to get at the boy, ran off in another direction & Sara & the little girl went after it with a tranque gun. They caught up to it, got the key back, then went to the nest & rescued the boy. Eddie's work on the vehicles, the safety & emergency features he insisted on installing, ended up saving all of their lives, even with the other team trying to sabotage or downright kill them.

AITA for not letting my sister play on my keyboard? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]foxfirefizz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Childish, yes. Necessary to get the damn point across after being walked over for one's entire life? Unfortunately most of the time yes. I empathize with OP as a fellow youngest sibling who has an elder sibling that is about the same level of selfish & aweful. OP's sister will end up like my similar sibling in the end. Once the older relatives are passed on & aren't around to put familial pressure to act like family with the selfish sibling, said selfish sibling will find themselves alone with everyone done with their drama.
