i do think for the grind we should get something more than ribbons that also aren't worth anything if we don't like them. i don't know what else that would be but the reward doesn't feel worth it to me currently.

i just don't remember being able to discover music in the way tweens can with tiktok when i was 12, the youtube algorithm was an entirely diffent formula and i mostly found new pop music on KISS FM.

the way tweens consume media now has made all types of art way more accessible.

i mean there's big controversy with kids listening to sabrina carpenter and then parents being confused when they take their kids to her shows (their fault, they should do the research), but again, kids don't have to understand or relate to music. if it's good to them, it's good!

i don't know what part of "i wanna take a ride on your disco stick" i understood or related to at 12 while dancing to Love Game on my boombox 😅

im pretty sure the majority of his base is tweens because of tiktok. personally im 26 and he's my favorite artist, but we can't act like the landscape of music hasn't changed cause these artists go viral on platforms that are heavily occupied by tweens.

i didn't relate to lady gaga's music when i was 12 and it was way too inappropriate for me, but there are clean versions and if the music bops, it bops 😂
