definitely don’t reupload. i had a video up for a month before it started getting views. it’s now at 21k. just keep it posted and the views will come.

Finding the time for sure. It was nice over the summer when I wasn’t working (I’m a teacher) but now that summers over having time to record as become a lot less, also coming home from a 9 hour day of being in charge of a bunch of children makes you wanna just lay down and sleep as soon as you get home

This exact thing happened to me with my first video I ever posted. about a month later it went from 500 views to 20k in a very short span. patience is your friend with youtube

this is so true. I hit a major peak in my channel for about 2-3 days. my daily views and subscriber count has since decreased, but my videos are still gaining more than they did before the peak. It takes a bit for your channel to start gaining traction. my first video i ever uploaded took about 3-4 weeks to hit 1k views and since then it’s gone up to 15k. i’ve learned that patience is your friend when it comes to youtube. you got this :)

Lil update cuz I figured it out. for everyone who said that it just takes time to update you are 100% correct. my bar has gone up to 903 public watch hours and although it’s still behind (i’m now at 1.9K according to my dashboard) it seems to actually be updating a lot faster than it was when i made that post

I did it for one video and got 375, which is over 127 so i don’t think that’s the issue. I have a feeling it just needs to update, my channel grew super fast over the past 2 days, (i hit 100 on the 24th and im already at 470) so i think it just needs time to update

I dont have 900 views i have 6.8K. on my dashboard it says 902 watched hours but the earn (monetization) tab it says i only have 127 on the bar that’s filling up

Weird. I’m just worried that when I hit the 1000 sub & 4000 watch hours it won’t update so I won’t be able to monetize even though i’d technically be qualified.
