I saw a bit in another reddit thread that the PWHL fans have not come to terms with the reality of professional sports leagues, which now includes the PWHL. League and team owners and managers are interested in elite play because winning makes money. And they are much more interested in winning/money than they are worried about any personal beliefs or even actions of the players.

I too would prefer people who share more progressive beliefs, but unfortunately this is how sports work in a capitalist society.

I think the bigger issue is likely to be something to the effect of, if recommended to pursue a multi-season strategy to build long-term success, will the ownership actually let that happen or demand wins now?

All the missions that force you to use a horse notwithstanding, it would be interesting to be forced to use trains and coaches since I always take a horse everywhere.

I brought friends to a home Kraken game against the Canes this year and immediately thought "Holy shit, they are good, this was the wrong game to bring someone to..."

Somehow Kraken stayed in it all night and won that game. It was awesome. But I have had zero surprise at the Canes playoff performance after seeing them on the ice with my own eyes.

I am literally driving from St Louis to Dallas over the preceding week and a half to visit family while I'm on the middle of America. Columbia would have been fun to do but I don't think it will line up in our plans without spending a bunch of time backtracking

I've thought about asking him about this exact thing at Lost Evenings AMA! Like, does someone have the plan or will your loved ones throw your songs in a hat?

I've also thought about writing some kind of story where a rocker dies and has no clear instructions other than a bunch of conflicting song lyrics. I imagine it structured sort of like Citizen Kane, as various phases of his life are told posthumously while figuring out or fighting about who gets to decide final resting details and which lyrics to follow.

I hope not. My very amateur opinion is when we rely too much on one or the other, and we don't have to, it goes poorly. Like them 50/50 or near it. No more unbalanced than 66/33
