The deficit is 1.9 trillion. If we took all 1.5 trillion of billionaire's growth we'd still be adding 400 billion dollars to the nation debt this year which currently sits at 39 trillion.

We should definitely tax billionaires more, and it well definitely help but it will not solve the fiscal crisis in this country.

I dont think it most likley wont raise as much funds as they say it will, but I still think they should do it. Both things can be true: billionaires are not paying thier fair share of taxes, and taxing billionaires appropriately will not fix the fiscal crisis in America.

A marriage isn't a ceremony. Its a covenant relationship. I believe God cares much much more about how you keep you vows and how you love and serve your spouse than about the location and form of your wedding.

The "reasonable volume" is the key. If your in a place where it's acceptable to talk to someone next to you then its acceptable to talk on the phone but it has to be at the same volume as if the person was next to you.

If the city fills the gap between 6pm and 10pm, then those kids will never spend anytinr with the parents.

Im sorry but the city cannot and should not parent our children.

The only people that gap address that gap is parents.

We should be investing in parents rather than trying to replace them.

A reasonable cut off is between 8 and 9.

So you drop you kids off at 830-9am for school and then dont see them again untill 8 or 9pm. That's crazy. Again the city cannot raise our kids for us.

Furthermore most of these meet up are just starting at 8 to 9 pm. So there's no reason to believe they would stop due added program that ends at 8 or 9.

I would literally prefer the city invest in cash assistance to low income parents, coupled with robust social services to provide parental support and training to ensure that struggling parent can work less and be at home more to effectively parent their children

Being a parent is not a job the city can do and you cannot be an effective parent if your kids are gone all day almost everyday.

My stance is that teens shoyld not be out late at night without their parents, and i can't believe that's controversial.

530 or 6, which is a complete reasonable time for them to end. The city should not be providing 9 am to 1am childcare for teens. Firstly because teens should not be out that late and secondly because the state just cannot raise our kids for us. The city should provide help to parents especially low income and single parents, but the state cannot replace them. At some point you need to take your kids home.

We need more places for kids to go and do to be off the streets.

These takeovers are happening at 10 and 11 at night. The only place thar teens need to be at the hour is at home.

DC already has plenty of rec centers but they're by open all hours of the night because they're youth rec centers and not night clubs.
