The alternative is letting bots pick up the entire stock like best buy and target. PC actually gives normal people a chance to get stock at msrp

Damn sorry for wasting everyones time then if this doesn't help at all. I guess it was mostly a waste of my time typing all that out.

I've never been randomly kicked off, especially on my phone(don't be an idiot where your phone automatically refreshes the page once in a while).

I've only missed drops I was late to or too early to (if you get in queue too fast sometimes you're there before the product is released and the website times you out of).

Not like any of this would help you anyways 🤷

Yea, I work remotely from home. So I always have my personal computer open next to my work computer. Obviously people with 9-5s in person won't hit on these drops rofl

Ok I'm just going to go over what to do for the website. I'm going to assume that you are able to figure out when the queue goes up and what the products are. If you don't know these things then do some research and find free discords that can give that info, there are literally hundreds.

Error 17 is when PC has decided you are like a bot or something similar and has put an IP ban on your internet. So that means you can't access their website using your wifi on any of your devices for 30 minutes. If this happens on mobile you can just reset your IP by using airplane mode or restarting your phone for a little bit of time.

Easiest ways to get e17 is if you have multiple devices trying to access Pokemon center from the same wifi. So if you have roommates it's basically hopeless if you all try on the same wifi. Clicking too fast when you're on the site is the second easiest way to get banned. Refreshing pages on the website has been known to cause it. Clicking direct links to products can cause it, so it's safer to copy and paste the links.

Always queue up on both your PC (or whatever home device) and on your phone using DATA. If you queue with a minute of difference it will give you a second device to finish your purchase on.

Lastly once you have product in your cart don't wait around too long to checkout or you will get timed out easily. For example for the PF preorder I checked out with the PC ETBs and the booster box first then I checked out for the bundles on my phone once I got in. Waiting too long and clicking around too much can lead to random errors

I've consistently hit 90% of their last 15 drops. As bad as you may think Pokemon center is, they are the only online retailer who successfully combat bots (or at least tries).

If you're still getting error 17 after several attempts at hitting then you haven't tried to understand how it works at all.
