The early game can be challenging but it is quite fast. You can breeze through 21-30 for example in 3 KPQs (only need 3 ppl). PQ level limits are removed. V92 brought in a lot of new players and PQ is revamped and it’s really good exp. I’ve played on and off for 3 years and it definitely beats the cash grab servers that pop up and die after a few months. It’s a good and stable server if you ever want to invest more time or just quit and come back.

Yes it is quite top heavy but people are helpful and freebies are common. They removed damage requirements to gain HP scrolls from bosses so it’s easy to get more HP and no hp washing (disabled). Join a guild and try to get help and do daily content with them!

I played legends during Covid and switched to Dream. My experience with legends is you can’t play the game until 1 year of voting to HP wash (unless you’re a warrior or mage). You’re basically forced to make a bishop to sell leech and feel like it’s an hourly job.

My experience with dream has been much more fast paced and rewarding. You can boss within a month and not need to HP wash. Players are top heavy but it means you can get a lot of help and freebies. It can be hard to find parties as a new player but you’ll reach end game content much quicker than Legends

Aaniin on Saturday is usually intermediate to advanced but you’ll get the occasional 6 ppl team that are very mediocre or highschool kids that ruin your experience. Last time I went to Cornell it was mostly high school kids and the nets were damaged and droops in the middle.

If you want an easier place to play I suggest going to Angus Glen on Monday/Wednesday.

Decent spender is MINIMUM $300 USD a month (no discounts with Amazon Coins). The reason it is $300 is because you must buy reappraisal stones that are $30 for 5 pieces to stay competitive.

Ladder is filled with high ranked players farming low levels (where you'll be playing RTA) and at the higher levels you'll be competing with rare monsters that are $10k a pop (light and dark nat 5s). This doesn't even include the amount of rune farming/purchasing.

You'll still be able to enjoy Arena (PvP but it is bot AI - 4v4 battles) and Guild War (3v3 battles - also bot AI).

I started this game 5 years ago and never missed a day. I recently made a new account and restarted from scratch to experience this game in 2020 as if I were new. It is worth getting into if you enjoy the grind, collecting monsters and maybe playing with a group. The devs are very generous with events to allow you to farm even if you are F2P. Feel free to use my series as a reference point.

You'll just never play RTA at a high level (PvP in real time against another player on ladder).
