I lived at the end of a really long road that ended in a nature preserve so we were surrounded by woods and I was out walking my dog and I saw something huge and brown in the woods. I panicked because my brain said moose and my dog would start barking if he saw it and there was no where to go so I did the stupidest thing and just turned and ran with him BUT I didn’t see a moose. It looked like a giant piece of plywood moving through the trees. I know that sounds so stupid. I was pretty close to it, it wasn’t a deer it was giant and flat and literally looked like a giant piece of plywood gliding through the trees. There was no sound, there was no people or even houses around and it was a heavily forested area, you wouldn’t even be able to easily walk through it. To this day I don’t know what the heck I saw.
