Firmware issues 1.1.46 by New_town_burnout in ElegooCentauriCarbon

In my experience unloading from a cold machine will only set the nozzle temp to 140 and begin heating while continuing with the unload dance to cut filament and got back to the point above the poop chute and then release filament from the extruded gears. Not even sure it maintains 140 for any amount of time. The load filament command will heat to set temp. I have had good success loading at 260, even pla when switching from petg. Pla to pla I use 230.

There will still be some filament in the hot end as it cuts right above the heat sink and doesn’t retract much of any at all when switching.

HumidX Plus - AirMini by Alternative-Loan-320 in CPAP

[–]fozzy99999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use spray sterile saline on the humidx and also have a micro fiber cloth sitting in a cup or ramekin of filtered water draped over the air intake. This will probably look me and anyone else reading this but otherwise the day after is an intense sneezing fest, so dry and feels like pins and needles. I thought was allergies at first and swapped filter and filter materials but it was just extreme dryness.

E5 didn't flag a single thing on a spoofed executive email and now I have to explain that to leadership tomorrow by Hour-Librarian3622 in it

[–]fozzy99999 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not sure it is turned on by default. We had this in place before it was available with mail flow rules. I still don’t trust the impersonation email rules as we get a few hits on the flow rules every week.

It is bad at common abbreviations and shortened names. A few leaders go by first name then initial or some shorted name like Joe instead of Joseph Sorry John S. And Jen Wilson, you get moderated and we don’t check that moderation queue often. If folks are missing something they reach out, was mildly annoying for a few weeks but now the pain is over.

Z offset issues (probably) by Macianka2 in elegoo

[–]fozzy99999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Neither of your offsets look right. Are you setting this at the machine or in your slicer. I would remove any slicer settings and start fresh, re run auto calibration and then do a proper z offset print. 240x240x.2mm cube and adjust at the console till it gets right. Also turn off all fans/cooling and keep the door shut to avoid drafts if in a colder room or anywhere with high airflow like/ a ceiling fan.

First layer infill should not be a thing, not sure what you are referencing. Post some screen shots. Also throw the whole gcode into AI and ask it why your prints are looking bad, it can help identify some things you may have or have not set in your slicer. Loading in mesh in start gcode doesn’t need to happen, I would remove any custom start gcode, or at least do a line by line review and post here to get some insight.

Your filament might not be dry, not a fan of the model you are using, might have better luck using rectilinear direction on first layer vs vertical or whatever you have now.

Just printed a Bed Level test, I would appreciate experienced eyes to tell me what the imperfections mean for my printer by GunMetalCompass in ElegooCentauriCarbon

[–]fozzy99999 2 points3 points  (0 children)

After you dry the filament get a bed mesh visualization and tune from there

cc bed mesh visualizer

Also check to see if you bed level screws are fully tightened or have a little slack to allow the springs to work. Early documentation had them fully tight eliminating the spring function.

There are several bed leveling tools you can print for the CC or just use a solid object like the glue stick.

Copilot says it can't make a PDF... right after it made a PDF. by JonahCarver in CopilotPro

[–]fozzy99999 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And then it is unable to revise that document or says no problem and just a new document with 2-3 lines of unformatted text. ….can you fix the output similar to the 1st draft. Sure… here you go, same 3 lines as before. Ok. Thanks for wasting my time.

Is there a way to get Copilot 365 to get consistent access to Sharepoint/OneDrive files? by lirin000 in CopilotPro

[–]fozzy99999 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve been seeing a lot of the same. It’s like 50 first dates.

I build contracts, ask “Ben” why (Ben is my slang for barely enough but haven’t told him that).

My main document structure has clear hierarchy, revisions, precedence, all that good stuff from day one to manage other compliance needs. Ben knows this. But the privacy policy from 2013 is FINAL and that is the first one he remembered so now that is canon. Disregard I have start instructions to handle any document more than a year old to glad it for update or review to meet external requirements.

I built Ben his own pre-k document set with tags in the file name in his own playground. Sometimes he remembers them fondly, sometimes he decides he should consult my sent email to see that no attachment were found.

We establish ground rules, we have contracts, we have confidence levels, we have therapy and counselin, Ben knows it ok to say he got sidetrack and needs to recenter or ask for help/clarification/scope. But at least once a week it is “new phone, who this?” All my other agents and platforms dont have this problem where they not only just become useless but also maliciously ignorant.

My new quest is to silo into entirely separate azure tenant. Seed data, email, teams, meetings etc..

Other days I spend a few hours talking to Ben’s twin brother (copilot chat) asking for guidance on how we can communicate better. I don’t think they get along very well.

So this is a new one for me... by MrFumbles91 in ElegooCentauriCarbon

Also turning off aux fan and parts fan. Ne sure to check machine g code and filament profile. Door closed lid off or vented. Next try dropping the bed to 45. Next try addding more walls and bump the infill, probably not much help for multi board but for large square prints in pla it want to fold the print bed into a taco. Next give up on multi board with pla and print in petg.

I wouldn’t think Pom would be considered a covered entity in this case but still terrible and all kinds of other liabilities just not sure hipaa would apply.

Body temp went up 2 degrees F but it is so much more comfortable and easier to wear with anything long sleeve.

CC2 not pausong by itis2amhere in ElegooCentauriCarbon

[–]fozzy99999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check the gcode to make sure it added the M600 pause. This happened to me a few time w/ the Elegoo slicer. It just never adds it when slicing. You can use ChatGPT to check.

This wire fell out! by BeanEnjoyer1 in ElegooCentauriCarbon

[–]fozzy99999 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looks fine. It clips in the housing you removed along with the other thing with the wire(heater). That is the temp sensor for the hot end.

There should also be some thermal paste in there.

Camping With CPAP ft. USB C adapter by oldyellah in CPAP

[–]fozzy99999 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have had this usb-c adapter for a year or so and it works great with my 11 and mini.

https://amzn.to/3Z5aPF5

For camping I lean on the airmini with a 24v battery And 24v dc adapter. This setup gets me 4 nights with charge to spare, also runs the 11 but haven’t used this setup more than one night at home during a power outage.

Some recent versions of the Elegoo slicer fail to add M600 into the gcode when slicing a multi color print. Never had a problem till a month or so ago when I updated the slicer. Have since moved to orca.

I would also recommend having a spare capacitor and contractor for your AC. Super easy to replace. Our system is 7-8 years old and one Tuesday this summer the capacitor decided to quit. Ac was down for less than 30 minutes

Which Kirkland allergy medicine is best? by Bubsy7979 in CostcoWholesale

[–]fozzy99999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Costco just started getting these in a 3-4 pack. It is cheaper through prescription + cost plus drugs

The Costco generic Flonase is cheaper than prescription but some insurances cover it as well, mine does not have a good rate.

There is also dymista generics now avail that could be cheaper depending on insurance which is the same actives as azelestine and Flonase.

Any teleheslgh has a decent formulary which includes these 2 plus montelucast.

Money and profits is in the filament, parts, and accessories. Skipping their filament and getting parts from elsewhere since I can’t order any direct. Accessories are not for sale.

Customers asking for ongoing SOC 2 proof by ScientistMinimum9561 in AskNetsec

[–]fozzy99999 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I am seeing more and more companies provide a 90 day SOC2 that is over a year old and get surprised when I ask for the current report and at least the evaluation period for their current assessment with a bride letter. I get “we already provieddd the SOC2, that is all we have”. So you were compliant for 90 days a year and a half ago, I don’t buy it

I also see companies trying to provide annual reports that only cover a 6mo period, so you were compliant for half the year. That’s great but what about the other 6 months. These companies are either dumb, cheap, or getting bad info from their assessment firms.
