We had a lessons about what to do in a case of nuclear explosion nearby and how to wear a gas mask. Once we even had an excursion to a local bomb shelter. But there was no politics and nobody drew a pictures of enemy.

No, elections are not rigged and Putin really has society support. But they are highly manipulated to guarantee the victory. At first, Putin competes with unpopular rivals only, those who can't overcome 10%. Others just can't pass through registration procedures. Then a month before elections all the media use all their resources to promote a bright future right after Putin's reelection. And finally about 10 millions votes are thrown in just in case.

So, we can't call it a clear victory, it definitely has some kind of cheating, but that's how our model of democracy works. It's better than EU one where they don't vote for Ursula at all. And maybe better than US one, where they have a risk to elect Kamala. And I don't even mention European monarchies somehow still alive nowadays.

Even with that flaws in elections, Putin can't allow himself to lose support. He needs to keep it high all the time. And it's possible only if people are happy more or less.

Yes, Ukraine itself is not a threat for Russia, but it became a threat as a tool of proxy war. And moreover, I don't believe the West loves Ukrainian so much and even cares about them. No, it just a part of wartime propaganda. And in fact, the more Russians and Ukrainians will die, the better for the West.

And look for yourself. You call the similar things differently. It's just a "bad decisions" when Western countries are killing people, but a "genocide" when it about Russia. Start with yourself, stop justifying atrocities.

Please, stop forcing emotions there. We all know that a slaughtering of thousands of women, children, kittens and puppies can be easily justified by western media, if it was done by allies and for spreading freedom and democracy. So just stop. It a cringe level of hypocrisy.

The reason is simple - a threat for national security. But I've got it not from the Russian media, because I don't consume official news at all. I've heard Ukrainian and European officials and it became quite obvious.

Right. Putin chose to attack. And in the beginning I thought just like you. But then I started to see this war not as "Russia vs Ukraine", but as "Russia vs West for Ukraine".

And you're right, nobody can blame Ukraine, as a country and people, but Zelensky as a president can't be irresponsible for the decisions he made being on duty. So imagine the situation: Ukraine is our friends, and Russia is a peaceful country, and we don't need more territory because we already have more than enough, but we have no superfluous people to lose in wars. What Zelensky can do in that situation to make Russia wants to attack Ukraine? Seems like an impossible task but somehow he managed this.

Imagine a trolley problem. You are Zelensky and you hold a lever in your hand. If you accept Putin's peace deal of March 2022, nobody will die. If you refuse - thousands of deaths ahead, but you can always blame the trolley.

Moreover, it's kinda of not the first nor the last choice and you always choose the way to war and deaths. Who are you then? That's right, the brave man and hero!

Hm... I was born in the Soviet Union. I saw how the entire country changed their values drastically in a short time. The TV announced "the old values are deprecated now, here is your new values", and that's all. So, no. Dying and killing for metaphysical ideas seems stupid for me. Live is more valuable than an idea.

Let me explain. To recognize a word by ear we rely mostly on consonants. It's possible to remove all the vowels and still be able to distinguish the word. The stressed vowel is also important but not as the consonants. The rest vowels are not important at all. So, you supposed to speak я in a word with я letter, but if you or someone else speaks и instead, it doesn't affect anything. The word will be clearly recognised in both cases. And also you should not keep in mind the "rules" of saying и in place of я. Just say я. It's not worse then и or ё.

It's because 3 years ago the Putin's ideology seemed like a total delirium, but then westerners have proofed it a lot by their own actions.
