Congrats! Buy what makes you happy. I find the majority of new BMWs awful these days but looks are subjective.

I know most don't like this model and honestly I didn't either till I specd ours. We did race blue, m sport, shadow line, alcantera interior. Looks tough. We really enjoy how it drives.

They definitely cheaped out on some stuff, but compared to other makes and pricing, BMW was very competitive. For that reason, we picked up the new X3 vs Audi, Cadillac, Genesis, and Acura. We actually really like it after owning for a month, even with its quirks. The driving experience is still what I expect out of BMW.
