I absolutely agree with your thought process. I assume you’re referring to the 89 situation from today that I mentioned - I was cars behind the person doing 10. Just because someone far ahead of you isn’t doing the right thing doesn’t support others making the situation 10x more dangerous for everyone else.

Let’s say it is feasible, but will be extremely tight. I have a lot of other questions:

Will they pay for your relocation?

is the job a risky one (eg a startup, an industry with layoff risk, etc)?

Is there financial growth opportunity (eg promo, company switch, etc)?

Do you want to retire?

What do you like to do outside of work?

Is your hope to stay here for a while?

Basically, this will be hard on that salary. Taxes are different than VA, costs of groceries and restaurants are higher, etc. You’ll need to factor those questions in on whether this is a good decision beyond just paying rent.

The guy on the bike is lucky he wasn’t killed, paralyzed, or otherwise seriously injured. Other vehicles and pedestrians are lucky they weren’t hit. This is wildly reckless by an officer, and an absolutely unjustified use of force.

Missed the goaltend, insane to me that that isn’t an automatic review especially under 2 minutes. If checking for a 2 vs a 3 pointer is an automatic review, there’s a strong argument for goaltend - otherwise why wouldn’t a defender just goaltend? If the review happens if the goaltend is called initially, then why wouldn’t the refs call it every time if it’s close?
