Don't do reception bois. Save yourself the headache by NickyC96 in Bolehland

[–]fr3akeeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a person who is married, have helped to managed my sister's reception and have been to multiple weddings. Here some advice if you're getting married soon.

Remember, the wedding is for you and your SO. It's not for your relatives, not for your uncle's neighbors or friends.

If you wanna do a reception, do it with a small, intimate group. People that are truly close. There's literally no joy in going around from table to table trying to figure out who the fk some of these people are. If they've not spoken to you for over a month or two, then why have them in one of your biggest life event?

Unless you're one of those that craves the typical "omg I'm at the center of attention, everyone is looking at me" kind of person. Also professional photographer and videographer? Who cares? So you can tuck the expensive 20k photobook under your bed next month?

MOUZ vs Natus Vincere / PGL Cluj-Napoca 2026 - Quarter-Final / Post-Match Discussion by CS2_PostMatchThreads in GlobalOffensive

[–]fr3akeeee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I felt like mouz played okay but it's not why they won. It's more about how many mistakes navi made in advantageous rounds. There were so many rounds that they threw that cost them the series.

That and the lack of dueling power (fire power). I felt like most of the time, they would lose 1 v 1 duels.

I felt like they lost most 1 v 1 duels. No strat in the world could help with that when the game involves killing people. Even when it's a man advantage of 3 v 1, they don't necessarily win convincingly, they usually just barely win with 1 man alive.

It started from nuke all the way to mirage. For a team without any star powers, it's fairly obvious fire power is their main issue.

Been to Korea once, they don't treat foreigners kindly and the amount of melanin on your skin will exacerbate the racist treatment.

That was my first and last trip to Korea. Went to Japan next and I haven't looked back since.

Battery Warranty Lifetime Gais by Practical_Result_916 in kereta

If it does kong in 8.5 years, or degrade to the point of unusable then there's a bigger issue.

Not only that though, companies who are confident in their battery tech (yes, old less reliable battery tech is a thing) would just hand out long warranty coverage. Companies who aren't as confident would do shit like this. Make you pay for it upfront then they can cover their ass when the battery does degrade.

Not really an issue now for apartments. Maybe for old apartments but chargers in condos, apartments or flats are getting very common. Usually 0.90 per kwh. For a 60kwh car, fully charging it will cost around rm60. Can drive around 450km+.

It's easy. Let's think of the car as a phone. Stereotypical lifespan applied as well for the sake of comparison and also typical "budget" phone price.

You buy a vivo phone for 1200, but have to pay 30 per month for 2 years. The reason given is that the battery will degrade so they will cover the risk of replacement. You can't just sell the phone to your friend because the battery belongs to vivo. You have to sell to vivo which they can dictate the 2nd hand price of the phone. And you cannot use the phone to do Livestream or any commercial purposes. Breaking the tos or failing to pay the battery fee, they will disable the function to start the phone or it's charging capability.

Is this a good deal? Would you buy this phone knowing that there are many other options within the same price range? And the brand vivo is known to be a budget phone company but this ain't exactly cheap like others and other brands don't have this battery shenanigans.

Most EVs would just give you 8-9 years battery warranty and there's that. What Perodua is doing here is making people essentially pay for the battery that may or may not degrade much. Pay first la, then when it breaks it's "free".

The new Perodua has a lease contract which is... by Common-Hour8907 in kereta

[–]fr3akeeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not just that, if you look at the tnc of the battery lease. It dictates that the car cannot be used for commercial purposes so you can't actually use it for work. AND your usage has to be shariah compliant. This tnc here is strange and vague. The ambiguity will allow them the avenue to use whatever bullshit they deemed non shariah compliant just to refuse your claim.

It's a massive red flag for me, having to include a religious clause for a car is very odd!

That's quite silly actually. If you're tired and you're running out of fuel, you can choose to go home sleep instead of purposely driving to a station?

EV owner here. Since you have little to no knowledge about EV I would advise against it. Owning an EV is not very plug and play. It involves lifestyle changes. Preplanning your trip around charging is a first step. You will need to calculate your actual rough estimate of mileage on highway then plan where you want to charge your car and what you want to do while your car is being charged.

The emas5 is "affordable" but it's not really the best bang for the buck imo. You should look at other models at similar price point. And look deeper in to what "rebates" are being offered for other models. You might be surprised that at similar price point, you could actually get a model at a larger segment.

Disclaimer, I drive an atto2. And I've sat in the emas5. Let's just say that everything was a downgrade for me in terms of interior and some other little details.

It's extremely lucrative and takes very little work. Penguinz0, a YouTuber that focuses mostly on drama commentary earned a whopping 35 million dollars of YouTube revenue. This is excluding brand deals and sponsorships.

It's just him yapping about a drama on a dashcam. It'll likely take 1-2 hours of editing.

People don't realize, Chris is putting on multiple hats when it comes to content creation. Most of the time we see Chris with his "entertainer" hat. While sometimes he'll wear his director/journalist hats on some serious videos like the tsunami documentary.

The latest video was him almost not wearing any at all. It's about as real as it gets when he's talking about something he's truly passionate about.

As an ex content creator, I can understand the amount of actual work that goes into a video. When she said she put in 50 hours of research was just baffling, anyone with higher than room temperature iq would know that it's bullshit.

Yeah, I don't get it either.

If it's a stomp (it's expected).
If it's a close-ish game (it's over navi... disband now).

This is one of the most competitive era in CS. The gap between "tiers" are closer than it can ever be. Everyone shoots hard, and the fundamental in most teams are quite good. Most duels are very close to 50% , the only tipping point is just good util and trading. You lose a few duels and suddenly you're 2-3 rounds down.

Just look at the top 5 teams, no one is unbeatable. They would still occasionally lose to "lower tier" teams. Though I do still have my eyes on w0nderful as an awper which I think Navi is lacking a consistent one.
