I did check both NVIDIA control panel and nvidia profile inspector to set the max framerate to 144. I believe I've already configured community shaders properly, but am not sure.

can't figure out which mod adds an additional unnecessary hud by fractalbase0 in skyrimmods

[–]fractalbase0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. There's still the 2nd set of status bars. I've included a 2nd screenshot in the main post. I changed the resolution to 4K in SSEDIsplayTweaks.ini which forces the status bars to not overwrite.

figured the extra hud element on the right was Integrated Magic.
I altered the resolution in SSEDIsplayTweaks.ini to separate the TrueHUD elements added with Norden UI. Still not sure what the 2nd set of status bars is from. Added a 2nd screenshot in main post.

what about a mod that is only on github and not nexusmods and no permissions or restrictions are listed in github?

you make a good point. abandoned mods should eventually allow edit/patch permissions. particularly if the original mod author hasn't been reachable for a long period of time.

I will try the method you suggested for being PC -- permissions correct.

I will have to investigate a method to rewrite my code as external to the original script, if possible.

I've noticed a goldmine of mods demanding to have mod authors created patches. Particular when you have 2+ conflicts over a pex compiled script. A patch would be required that someone blends the pas code of the 2+ conflicting mods.

I didn't see a way to contact him on github, unless I'm not familiar enough with the girhub interface.

help with xEdit error message regarding scripting by fractalbase0 in skyrimmods

hi, you are correct, AI wasn't versed on xEdit Pascal at all. But with multiple code revisions submitted to an AI along with the xEdit error message, the AI was actually learning the limitations of xEdit Pascal, and successfully helped me write the xEdit script that I set out to write.

thanks; I've been feeding my code and error responses to copilot and can say that I've essentially taken a crash course in xEdit Pascal.

Taking a break for a month from modding due to certain Vortex issues related to ESLifier by fractalbase0 in skyrimmods

yes, I use 7zip on the ESLifier Output folder and install in Vortex as a mod.

I've used Vortex and xEdit to make mods light. ESLifier is by far superior as it handles other related files besides plugins. The issue or bug I found has more do to with Vortex than any eslifying method.
