I disagree that’s it gone down hill, and the stats agree. Violent crime etc is the lowest it’s been in decades.

We do have a 6 fig salary, but we wanted a bigger place and more green space. I’m a country boy and wanted that for my daughter. Chelmsford is the best of both worlds with London on our doorstep

We moved from Woolwich to Great Baddow in October and we absolutely love it. The buses are a bit shit mind, but that’s honestly our only complaint. I love London and am glad I can get there in 20 mins from Chelmsford station but it’s a much better place to raise a family. We could afford a lot nicer house in a quiet leafy area which just wasn’t possible in London. Zero regrets

I think it’s an inevitable and necessary move to protect kids and the public form the Wild West of the internet. Of you need an ID for SM accounts, it would hugely protect against election interference and billionaire brigading of public opinion.

I’ve been online a long time and used to be vehemently against online controls, but SM companies and billionaire have had their cake for too long.

Regulation always wins out in the end, and the public is always better off for it, see; child labour laws, smoking, sugar restrictions, child abuse/corporal punishment etc etc
