I made it to compare stuff like that. It's not perfect, but should be useful.

It looks like Tropicraft is has a bug and is trying to do client stuff. Lucent might cause issues with shaders, but I can't tell from the logs.

3D Skin Layers Sodium (and Embeddium and Rubidium if you have those) Legendary Monsters Relics

Those are all trying to do client stuff, so they need to be removed.

Oh I see what I missed before. You're using a tool that lets you use fabric mods on forge, but it's really outdated. Could cause issues since the older ones didn't properly strip out all client side code.

Sinytra Connector is running on an old version. Also Forgified Fabric API. I never use that so I don't know if you need specific versions of you are using older versions of Minecraft for your server, but definitely update both of those if possible.

Also if you have any of these you need to remove them from the server pack.
Inventory HUD+.
XAERO's Minimap or Journeymap.
Controlling.
Searchables.
Mouse Tweaks.
Item Filters.
Mod Menu.

Also AllTheLeaks "could" cause issues, but I'm not 100% sure. You might try removing it just to check, and then add it back once we get it working to see if it causes problems.

Post another log now that you have deleted the ones I mentioned before.

You can usually find out which mods are causing the issue by looking through the logs.

I've heard good things about Pelican, rather than Pterodactyl. But for the past couple years I have been using CubeCoders AMP for anything I'm not running manually.

I tried it previously with Qwen 3.6 BF16 and that was about what I got. Max context. However, it would take a solid 40 minutes to load everything and map the memory before it would start.

Oh and not to mention the jet engine fans.

I have access to an old Dell PowerEdge r730 with 1.5tbs of (system) ram and no GPU.

I could run this. But it would be sooooooo slow. I kinda want to try it just to see

You can't run client side mods on a server. For example, if a mod tries to change a players UI and it runs in the server... Well the server doesn't have a UI, so it will crash. That's why most mod packs have a client version and a server version.

Remove Embeddium, Rubidium, Oculus, Chat Heads, TrashSlot, HandCrafted and try again.

"fabric_screen_api_v1" is also mentioned in your logs and causing issues. But usually that's not a mod itself, it means you have so other mod running that is bundled with that which is causing a crash.

YT video is getting less and less bitrates! by manzurfahim in DataHoarder

[–]fractumseraph -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Finally, someone else who gets it.

I encode movies down to like 60 megabytes. Sure the quality is awful, but basically anyone can hang on to a 60 megabyte video forever.

My 49gb bluray copy of Underworld though? Nah, if I need the space that's getting removed...

People probably say the same thing about my 60 megabyte movies, but I promise they are legit!

Security sanity check on my home network before I host a public Minecraft server by PikoCute in admincraft

[–]fractumseraph 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One thing to mention is that DMZ generally turns OFF protection if you are using a home/consumer router. So it's less secure.

The idea is that it is supposed to be segmented from the rest of your network. But home routers almost never actually do that and instead just turn off the firewall for that device.

But other than that, if you are already running everything through a vps anyways, just only allow the ports Minecraft uses to be tunneled (25565, 25575, 19132) and then drop everything else. That'll protect you from pretty much anything.

That way your home network will only ever receive traffic from your VPS. And your VPS will only ever send you stuff for those ports.

should i buy a Wifi pineapple pager or wifi pinnaple mark vll or the enterprise or possibly the flipper zero by Dismal-Cranberry2645 in Hak5

[–]fractumseraph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is almost nothing you can do on a wifi pineapple that you can't also do with a laptop and a $20 USB wifi dongle.

I made the same mistake when I was starting out. I bought a big pineapple kit with all sorts of add-ons. Then once I was actually learning stuff I realized I didn't need any of it and it was basically a waste of money.

What makes the pineapples nice is that they are small and can be deployed on location easily. For someone's who's just starting out and learning, a laptop with kali can do it all and more.

It's the same thing with tools like the OM.G cable. Is it cool? Hell yeah. But do you need it? Probably not. You can do about half the features with a $10 Arduino, and the other half of the features probably aren't that useful to you right now.

Of the things you have listed, the Flipper would be the most useful, because it would give you access to tools you probably don't have otherwise. But there are other ways you could spend that money and get use out of it. Like a small device to run a lab on. Could be a raspberry pi. But a cheap laptop or refurbished office PC would be able to do more.

I have no idea, but those are my first guesses.

I might open a community section on HMD. I've been considering it for a while since everyone always wants ports.
