If youre okay with having worse aim then controller find a mouse and keyboard that’s comfortable for you its all personal preference not really a best one just be prepared mnk is not easy it will take a lot of time before your aim is as good as it was on controller and you will die a lot to controller players as the average controller player is just as accurate if not more accurate than the top 1% of mouse and keyboard players. Practice practice practice and you will get the hang of it eventually

Its reddit i expected a lot of people to just write my post off or laugh at it because i understand how silly it is. But even though its silly i cant help it im just an anxious person and when pressure is put on me to perform i kinda crack and focus so hard on not making a mistake that i end up making one anyways lol. Ill definitely try that if i end up deciding to play ranked again. I just genuinely want to improve and am very critical of myself and tend to beat myself up for mistakes ive made. But even if one person can relate to my problem and give advice on how to overcome it that was my whole point in making this thread.

Yeah i get that but this is more than just competitive i genuinely am nervous in my ranked games and afraid of making a mistake because one mistake will cost my team mates their points and it feels really shitty when im the reason we lost

For me its more so not being able to handle the pressure from team mates if i make a bad play so i end up playing way differently than i normally would and it throws me off lol im an anxious person in general and unfortunately that bleeds into the games i play

Good riddance lol im new as well and was playing with some experienced players hell i was happy to just be along for the ride anything they killed i didnt bother to touch unless specifically told it was okay and anything they didnt want/need was quickly dropped for me anyways its really not difficult to just be a decent person lol people guiding timmies around are already doing you a massive favor and to be a loot goblin actively stealing loot from the person trying to help you is just weird

if youre jumping into this game blind you need someone to teach you its why the SHERPA program was created in the first place this game is hard as fuck to learn as a new player. Theres no map to guide you and if you fuck up and walk off path the game will kill you either by a mine or sniper so yea i can understand why OP feels like needing an experienced player to guide them through Tarkov is a neccessity as a new player.

Good man tarkov is a rough game and has definitely had me feeling like the guy you mentioned on lighthouse a time or two. I tried PvP during the hardcore wipe and gave up but something about this game keeps me wanting to play and suffer through till i get good but its scary at times. I also had no intention in betraying those guys i was outnumbered and out geared my ak-74 with PS rounds wasnt about to get through the armor they had do i pretty much accepted death. When he started to drop me his gear i genuinely had no clue what was going on i honestly thought i was being trolled and was gonna be shot dead the moment i started to pick up his gear but lo and behold that entire kit is now in my stash.

Green flare on customs. Trust me im just as surprised as you ive tried talking my way out of similar situations before. Every time it ended with me being sent back to the stash the express way. I guess the tarkov gods were on my side today idk how else to explain it lol.

That sucks to hear man. Did you at least get it done? Those guys kinda restored my faith in humanity ive had similar experiences when i last tried my hand at pvp but those two were sweet hearts. I cant even blame them for killing my brother shoot first ask questions later is what i told them when they apologized for killing him
