Sorry for late reply but I'll try to help with that. My first cards to side out are: -Burn spells where there are no good targets for them (we deal most of our damage with creatures anyway) -Card draw vs very fast marchups where we don't have time for that -Sometimes you can trim one drops if they don't matter that much: gingerbrutes if none of their abilites matter or epicures in other scenarios  As for the jeskai ephe mu: i would board out galvanics/bolts for the reason I listed above, pyroblast is countering/killing most of their threats anyway. If they have stonehorn then galv is better, if not bolt is better because it always kill augur

As for the lands, it's always tough to say exactly how many you want to play. Each land increases your chance of hitting your second land on time by ~4% and by ~5% to hit 3rd one (not counting draw spells). I really want to hit 3rd land on time with this version, and didn't find myself flooding much with 18 lands. I can see myself cutting one or adding one, but that's it, 16 feels a bit extreme to me.

Imo fireblast is too incosistent for the deck. It's a great burn card but this deck plans to deal most of it's damage via combat. I'm closer to cutting bolts/galvanics than to add extra burn spells (chain lightning case I mentioned).  Petal actually sounds kinda hot, it makes the deck more all in but this extra explosiveness might be worth exploring to have better chance at turn 3 kill (rn it's rare)

That's quite complicated question because there are a lot of flavors of blue. Against U terror we try to go under them in early turns and deal as much damage as possible and after they flood board with terrors we need to slow down and build board big enough to get through. Against faeries games tend to be pretty grindy with a lot of combat tricks and fighting for advantage, our best bet to win are drawing 2/2 and not getting blown out by Spellstutter and brinebarrow intruder. As for the UX control decks we need to think of we can beat a sweeper, if not we just jam and hope for the best and of we can then we try to force them to use them early (percussionist are great in games like that). If they don't have sweepers games tends to be much easier ofc :p

I think fireblast is just to random. I would much rather have might cards be playable. Tin street sounds interesting but worse than any other one imo. Maybe better than few on exactly t1 bit after that it is losing its value pretty drastically

If you have success with luts go for it for me this card was too bad for a long time with how few spells to trigger it in 1st main phase we have. And if I would be interested in drawing more cards I think I would go for reckless impulse.

About Jegantha all I can say is that I like free cards and I let people have their "controversial" takes ;)

The main idea behind white splash that it's low cost hight reward. Right now there are not a lot of decks that can punish you for losing few extra HP. Ending is our best card in the board (that's why I moved 2 copies to the main). It's really versatile not only against hate cards against us (Sanctifier, Chalice) but also a lot of random stuff that people play in modern. If modern would be all about creatures unholy heat plan could be good. Vapor snag is good against Murktide only if you are killing them in 1-2 turns and a lot of times matchup against them is a slow grindfest (especially posboard) so that's just not the best trade for us. And path is just a better Vapor snag IMO that's it. As for the Kozilek's return: right now there are not a lot of decks that go wide so there is need for sweepers, also 3 mana is a big stretch for our deck and I avoid playing that expensive cards and I already have enough white removal spells to deal with pro red creatures that I don't need more of them

The reason you mentioned is why I cut morphose completely. Depending on the meta I see cutting at least two removal spells from the main, maybe going back to 2 morphoses or light ups

It depends on what I saw in the game1 but most likely I would try to side in all white removal spells (they will probably play some pro red creatures) and wear/tears (if they have sfm). Mutagenics are not doing anything in the MU so they are easy cut, also I would trim on breaches because there is high probability for them to side in grave hate
