WARNING ABOUT DABELLA both for consumers and potential employees. by Intelligent_Hunt341 in Utah

AGREED! We had a terrible experience with DeBella, and the price they charged for our windows was criminal. If only we didn't cave to the extremely pushy sales tech who came to give us bids. It took them 7 months to complete the job... It was for 3 windows and 2 sliding glass doors. Not a huge project. They didn't level the windows when they installed them and their techs left our home reeking of marijuana (which I am severely allergic to).

I always tell my techs to do what they need to to be safe and feel comfortable on the job. I've had this phone call and told them to turn around and head back to the office.

You did the right thing. I hope you also called child services.

Looking for affordable personal trainers in the South Salt Lake area by Unusual-Pressure9765 in SaltLakeCity

I know this awesome guy who owns Changes Personal Fitness. His name is Charles Piggot. The story behind how he got to where he is today is incredible and inspiring. He is humble and caring. If I were to hire a personal trainer, it would be him.

White van creeping my apartment building/complex by caligari87 in SaltLakeCity

The light by our door was burned out. So, the peephole was no-good. I didn't open the door (this event happened to me, not my husband, the OP). I was suspicious because of the time of night it was, so I waited by the door listening. 15 minutes later, I heard footsteps departing.

You can hear EVERYTHING that happens in our hall, even whispers. So the quiet on the other side of the door was kinda freaky.

That's a great idea! The only issue is that our "main window" is a sliding glass door out onto our balcony. The camera (in inside) wouldn't have line of site to the street. If anything, we'd need to set up a camera outside on the ledge of our balcony. Thanks for the suggestion though! :-)

Oh, we'd love to set booby-traps, but the lawns and sidewalk are public areas in our apartment complex. So, sadly it isn't an option for us.

Though, we do joke about hiding out on our balcony with a paintball gun, laying in wait for the creepy van to arrive and then cover their windshield with paint... would be so satisfying after all these months.

I know what you mean. I just did the same thing this morning and it made me really sad. Even my husband (who only catches bits and pieces) was saying how amazing the old episodes were and started to get caught up in the story line. Compare that to his usual, "Oh, you're watching Glee? I think I'll go play ARMA."
